I'm not usually one who wins stuff either, but in our 2nd year of marriage, when DH was still a low-ranking enlisted guy and I was still in college, money was really tight and I didn't know how we were going to celebrate our anniversary. I won $100 from work and we won a gift card from the grocery store too! It was such a blessing!

I think there needs to be a Shoebox Swap for Texas. The last one I went to/ heard of was in 2010 or 2009. Probably 2009 cause I know it was before I took my break from crafting.

I was gone all morning, and I see a lot more prize winners. Congrats to all of today's winners. I also see that we are not yet done. So many prizes and so much excitement!
I had my kidney ultrasound this morning. I won't learn results for close to 2 weeks. Then I went to check on my two kitty charges while their Mommy & Daddy are out of town this weekend. The rest of the day is "mine" and I hope to check a few things off my to-do list.

Good morning everyone...! I'm feeling a little fuzzy today... but my eyes are much better - maybe it was just an allergy thing. Today just congested and my throat feels swollen. Lots of people on campus are catching viruses - we blame it on the changing of the seasons - it's rainy season now and everything stays a little damp.
