Where are the RAK threads? I looked in general stamping talk and swaps...

Just coming back to talk to myself and feel the love... my pumpkin is cooling in the oven and my house smells so good!
I know a couple of people have asked where I live... I purposely don't mention where I am online because our mission has asked us to be discreet... we personally are not in danger, but we are always under scrutiny, so I keep it vague in public forums. You can email me privately, though, and I'd be glad to answer questions!
It was when you mentioned the rice paddy that I had to ask mostly as a rhetorical question.
good good morning... how is everyone? I'm working from home today with a "sick" little one...
doesn't act so sick though.
When my mom thought/knew I was malingering or faking , she'd do fun things like dump the contents of my junk drawer onto my bed with me and make me organize!

Hi girls! Congrats to all yesterday's winners! I hope I'm here for some of today's action! I'll be sad to lose this hangout.
Dina - Gorgeous. So amazingly gorgeous.
Liz - Hugs for your hospital sitting. Healing thoughts and prayers for your mom.
Everyone's food sounds so yummy! I don't have to make anything this year, which feels weird and wrong. I may cruise the recipe thread tomorrow and make something anyway.
You have three babies! You get to not cook!! (if you want)

It's great to have something like that to do! My thoughts are with you, a lot of time in hospital as a visitor isn't much more fun than as a patient. I hope things go well with your mother.
I think it's worse to be the visitor -- at least the patients get drugs.

Ha, I was thinking at least the patients visitors get to go home, and don't get all those examinations. Had my share of "sleeping" in my mum's room in her last couple of weeks, though. That was definitely easier for her.
Morning everyone! I am at work, where I really should attempt to get some stuff done today! Didn't sleep well last night, so much coffee will be needed.
A couple of you mentioned Thai food; I have a couple of good (and easy) Thai recipes I will try to add to the recipe thread tonight. One is a red curry and the other is for a Thai chicken dish.
Now where is Lydia off to this morning? If she's going to finish with all those prizes, she best get busy!
Waves back!
It was pretty stormy this morning but then the sun came out (yes, it really was the sun...I haven't seen it in a while but I definitely recognized it!). I was in the city centre today getting some felt for brooches. The Continental Christmas Market is on at the City Hall -fun! See you later!

Felt. Eek - I got you two sheets of that creamy felt you showed me how to make roses with last week, and I totally forgot to post it! The shop didn't smell of food this time, phew!! Sunshine here along with the wind, I actually got a wash dry after work.
Oh my gosh, I think I know what happened to Miss Lydia. It's a GORGEOUS day out there, 80 degrees, sunny, with a mild wind. She's probably at the park sound asleep enjoying this beautiful weather.
Either that or she got stuck in the mob at the grocery store..... I vote for the park!

HAHA - No I cranked out a walk, cleared our Splitcoast inbox, got my allergy shots and my cranberries and BOO!!!
ROFL!!!!!!!! Well at least you got to enjoy SOME of the pretty weather today! I think you need to set up your laptop outside and enjoy the rest of this afternoon.
Oh, I'm hooked on that at the moment . Our local greengrocer has just started stocking lemongrass!!! And the butcher gives me free chicken carcasses if I ask, which make fabulous stock. But I'm betting you can probably get truly fresh lemongrass, not what classes as fresh here? DH wants me to make a red Thai curry - maybe this weekend.
We have lemongrass growing back behind our house. Mmm... I love curries!

HAHA that is hilarious Connie!
Okay my chief fact checker has spotted the Die Cuts For You prizes I have yet to give away - and so I have spun the dials on the magic drawing machine!
Who is ready to give me a number between 31 and 78? I need FIVE total!
