7 is awesome! I think every comment is exciting. After 25 years of stamping I get so excited every time I get one!!
Don't be intimidated, Emily - you'll feel right at home in about five minutes!

OK, I messed up. I was thinking views instead of comments. I just know that some of the outstanding artists here do get a lot of love from the gallery. I love these kind of statistics, Lydia.

Well I forgot it was Veteran's Day and the PO would be closed....oh well...I got my Diet Coke w/ vanilla shots at the gas station to make the trip worth it!
If I drove to the post office in 36 degree weather only to find it closed, it would take a heck (in deference to our censors) of a lot more than vanilla shots in a coke to do it for me!
The original scrapbox - he had that flash sale for 50 minutes where they were $500 off! I had been saving for one for Christmas but I couldn't resist that price!
Aside from having to put it together you will love it. thank god my brother was around when my came because I couldn't get it in the door and the people who delivered were adamant, even when offered cash, that they could not bring it in.
Wouldn't you love to live in a place called Stuart's Draft? That is so very cool, Wanda.
LOL...yep, it's a rather different name for a town! Here's a quick background on the name..."In 1749, Thomas Stuart purchased 353 acres (1.43 km2) near the South River, a tribuary of the South Fork of the Shenandoah River. 'Draft' probably refers to the document drafting the land sale or is a reference to the river itself (draft is an old term for river or creek and is part of the name of several such in the area). The plain on the south side of the river tends to channel the wind, thus forming a rather constant draft."

Dying laughing! I love telling people how we all bust out our sweaters and get a fire going at anything below 65.
It's all what we are used to.
I get laughed at all the time from my DH's MN relatives because I am freezing in GA during the winter, I get my turn to laugh when we visit in the summer and they think they have humidity!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mmmmm.....like Vanilla Rum shots in it??!!! Yum!!!!!
You gotta love this thread. I mean it's so interesting and I'm being serious. I mean how often do you read that someone went and sorted tamales at church? Love it.
And if we're talking about fun names of places to live, Sugar Land is sweet, right Liz?

LOL. I was thinking the SAME thing!! I don't know what a tamale is, let along sorted one.
I'll admit it, I'm a comment monger. Seems silly. But those comments make my day and when a card gets mentioned in a Favorites thread, we practically break out the good stuff.

SCS is my FAVORITE place!!! Everyone else looks at me like I have something wrong with me for getting so excited about paper, ribbon and adhesive!
Location: I'm from Austin, TX. Well, actually Cedar Park.

Congrats to the winners
1. stampercamper
2. swldebbie
3. peggysue
4. kimizzle
I love ribbon it's probably one of the biggest things in my scrap supplies after card stock and patterned paper.
When I went to CKC San Marcos I went with my local scrap group and the girl I went with was really good about keeping me on track for what I said I didn't need to add to my supplies.
Although I did add more patterned paper like I don't have enough. LOL
But that ones hard to stay away from.
I missed Sugar Land, son of a gun, Liz. Sugar Land. Me, I live in a town named after a man who beat a senator with a cane. Now there's history for you.
Since we're talking about unusual town names...the infamous names in Pennsylvania that brought about the line "you have to travel through Intercourse (PA) to get to Paradise (PA) come to mind!

We had snowflakes this morning and it was high 60's yesterday! Now it is bright and sunny again though only in the 30's. Heading off to do the swim practice run, but I've got supper in the crock pot so I can hang out later! Congrats to the winners so far and have fun chatting!

You're making that up! My sides are splitting. I did see Michelle Zindorf's picture under a town sign "Climax" recently.
