ok I know F5 is refresh so I kept trying to remember if I ever used F1 and how that worked racing... ( my neighbor has an hydrojet boat so that's the only kind I've ever seen in person.

Did you know you can right click and have it automatically reload your tab without having to keep hitting F5?
nope will have to try that one too its so funny when you learn something new and then its actually something you can use so you'll try it and remember.
I gotta go start dinner and dispense doggy pills and such bbiab

Brenda just put up a beautiful sample card for the CAS challenge which is a color challenge this week.
Wow. Thanks, Gail. This one was truly a labor of love. Susan, who just lost her DH, was my best friend from high school. I was her maid of honor in her first wedding. She's had so many challenges in her life, yet remains strong, positive, loving.
It occurs to me now that I should be saying this to her--
Signing off. Going to get the card ready to send.

Wow what a fun (and exhausting) two days! I'm a complete convert to F1 - absolutely spectacularly fun. It will take me a month to download all my photos off my camera!!
Now I have to fix my prize screwup and then I can torture you tonight!
So those are the races you were at. Colour me silly, I knew that the F1 was in Austin but when you said races I still thought horses . We just read quite an interesting book, but for something written by a professional journalist there were enough typos and grammatical errors to really annoy me; bad copy-editing.
Congratulations to all yesterday's lucky winners!!
Hmmm - I think I didn't record some winners correctly and might need to fix that tomorrow.
I'm at the races this weekend so I won't be back until tomorrow evening, but I may have some adjustments to make - I'm so sorry!
Talk amongst yourselves!!
Been speedreading through the 10 pages I missed...
Races, as is in better-luck-next-time-Sebastian races???
Tomatoes - I'll take 'em in any form, raw, sauce or spaghetti sauce. Where would this world be without tomatoes...
And mega thanks to those of you sharing info about card selling. Been contemplating talking to a local store. Real life experience is so valuable.
Thank you Makalah for picking my number.. Oh to be 29 again... Heck, I'd take 35 again..lol
The link for Flonz doesn't seem to be working right now, so I will have to check it out later. Thank you so much for the prize.. Congrats to all of the other winners as well...
Had to check by to see who are the latest winners are. Congratulations to you all. I am spending the week at my mom and dad's because my mom is in the hospital and will be through Thanksgiving. She has a fractured pelvis. Not too fun. I hope to check in each day to see the latest and I will be having withdrawals not being in my stamproom all week. It is my daily therapy. For all of you still in the running for prizes, good luck to you all. I'm in that group as well!!LOL

Healing thoughts for your Mom. Caring for our parents can be a tough job. I hope your mom is back on her feet soon.

CONGRATS!! to all the new winners....you'll be having some fun with new toys...WHOOT!!! Have a good day with Lydia-torture today.....I'll have to check in after work this evening....
Healing thoughts to all of you still battling health issues
Missed the excitement earlier... our power was off for 7 hours! Not sure why... it's not uncommon for it to go out, but it's usually back on within 2-3 hours... I did get out of the house though - got myself a pumpkin (or the next best thing... not sure what it is actually... it's green...) for Thanksgiving, and took some pictures at the rice field up the road - they're harvesting this week! Played a little volleyball too.

Dina -- I've never seen rice being harvested before -- I don't know what I thought rice looked like but I was stupidly surprised to see it looks like any other grain LOL! I guess I thought it grew in Uncle Ben's bags ..

Oh my goodness, I've missed out on a lot of chat - I'll have to go back and catch up! Been crazily making stuff for Christmas craft fairs...
Congratulations to all you very lucky winners!
Lydia, I was thinking about you when I saw F1 on tv - didn't realize Austin had the only track in the U.S. for it!

It was VERY controversial here. But that aside, it was AMAZING.
Good morning all! Hope you have wonderful days. I'm happy to be headache free after waking to a bad one yesterday....so many "fun" aspects of The Change to cope with but the night sweats accompanied by insomnia and the monthly migraine are among my least favorite! Praying for all of you this morning who are dealing with so much worse health situations than menopause.
Just got on and checked all the posts from the last day or so and then saw the call for numbers.
I haven't been to Ren Fest for years. It was always fun but the last few years I went it seemed to get more and more rowdy each year. Maybe I'm just getting too old for that sort of thing.
I just converted a few more card fronts into full cards so I could add them to my box for MD Anderson. Post Office is my first stop tomorrow morning to get that box and a couple of others in the mail.
I bet your grandkids would love it and if you focus on the kid-friendly stuff there it's a lot less rowdy! We didn't see any shows except the Cast in Iron musician and spent the most time in Sherwood Forest where a lot of the games are. There were some costumes that were, um, interesting. But other than that we've managed to stay away from the crazier, drunker parts of it with the childrens.
And congrats on grandchild #5! How exciting!!

Good morning all - I'm here and ready for another day of torture. I got my trash and recycling bins out to the curb early this morning. Next task is to sort my pills for the week. If I didn't put them all in those little "daily" containers I'd never remember when to take or what I had already taken.
Gail, I'm glad you're feeling better today, and I hope the whole process is over quickly for you.
I just read an article about that controversy - interesting.

Good morning and for you, Bridget, good afternoon. (I think that applies to some others as well.) Had a dentist appt. early this morning. Even forgot to upload my CAS card. Congratulations to all the winners. Glad you had fun at the races, Lydia. No time to go back and check the chatter so if I need to know any gossip, I'll wait for the update!
