Just got on and checked all the posts from the last day or so and then saw the call for numbers.
I haven't been to Ren Fest for years. It was always fun but the last few years I went it seemed to get more and more rowdy each year. Maybe I'm just getting too old for that sort of thing.
I just converted a few more card fronts into full cards so I could add them to my box for MD Anderson. Post Office is my first stop tomorrow morning to get that box and a couple of others in the mail.

TAMMY!! I finished Season 1 of Revenge!! Now I have to buy the first few episodes of Season 2 from Amazon because no way I can wait until it's out on DVD!
Does anyone use Hulu Plus? Can I find the latest season tv shows on there?
I have it on my iPad. Love it, and yes they have the latest episodes!

Back from a day of worship, headache, nap, potluck and more worship, now Next Top Chef with the fam! By the way the cranberry chutney was super yummy with the roast pork loin so I'll put the recipe in the box!

The nap after church is just a given on Sunday. DH is watching football so I am upstairs to make some cards.

I had a busy day also: worship and two Sunday School classes; long nap then made out my To-Do list for the coming week. Then started working on the cards that need to go out this week. Several will come from my stash, but I made an anniversary card which I hope to upload tomorrow. It wasn't per any particular challenge, just similar to one I've made in the past.
Currently watching House.
Congrats to the 3 new winners. Lydia may take a long time to award the prizes, but once she starts, she moves quickly!
Congrats to all the new winners! I am making dinner - I picked up an autumn vegetable medley at Fresh and Easy Yesterday so will have that with some leftover pork. And maybe some spinach salad.

So, if I didn't post this earlier, Ken decided we'd paint ithe 2 story foyer and all the hallways BY THANKSGIVING, when we have 22 people coming for the festivities! haha
if we were to have a list just posted the day after the HYCCT challenges were do, it would be like high school play tryouts - you scan the list, don't see your name, and are disappointed.
this way, we all get to know each other and are excited when you see a new winner announced, even if it's not your name picked. it stretches out HYCCT just a little bit longer (or a lot, at this rate! )
I totally agree -- this is my favorite part of HYCCT!!! I love getting to know you all a little!

Oops, that question was answered. You'd think I'd know something about races as the Speedway is just a few miles up the road from me. Traffic is terrible on race weekends.
