I live in Missoula. My Dad went to college in Bozeman and my older sister was born there. They then moved back to Missoula. My younger sister also graduated from the university in Bozeman. I always enjoyed visiting that area.

I see I've missed several winner-picking rounds. Congrats to those winners. I haven't taken the time to catch up on all the chatter since the last time I was here. I miss chatting with y'all! I have two more large projects to do today, so I won't be here much.
I had the Card Ministry Design Team over this morning and we added 12 card packets to our supply. A card packet has one sample, plus materials for 7 more like it for a total of 8 cards per design. When we have the quarterly meeting at church, the mostly not-so-crafty ladies will assemble the cards to be sent out next quarter.
OMGosh!!! I didn't realize there was a holiday for button hoarders...I looooove them except mine are nowheres near as organized as your pic...similar colors in 3-2 qt canning jars...full....and that Mona Lisa is totally awesome....
No need to turn the heater on in my house... AND I have Scentsy warmers.... tee hee... I can't help it, I'm a "snarf".... MUST sniff before buying, even refills... and I KNOW what they smell like! LOL
I love Bath & Body Works, Bed Bath & Beyond, and Scentsy warmers. Those Scentsy warmers last a l-o-n-g time. In fact, I can't remember where I put my refills.
I definitely do not do Black Friday. I really don't do well in crowds of any kind let alone in the grabbing, angry, greedy kind. There is nothing that I want that badly. Those who go, good luck finding what you want, and may you be safe on the roads and in the stores.
I haven't bought any yet for the holidays of course by the time I buy them it will be over. So hard to believe next week is Thanksgiving. Where did the year go? Have you bought any? What's your favorite?
BnB had one called Leaves... I NEVER would have sniffed it cuz WHO likes LEAF SMELL??? But DD shoved it in my face and I bought THREE of the large ones... GONE!!!!

I don't really have anything I "want" I just am REALLY curious about the hype.... maybe it's a secret bucket list....
Dina, did you hear Sherry ask a question about touch twin markers - I was just going to summon you and you appear like a genie!
I'm here... Sherry, I'll send you a PM in a little while, when I feel awake enough to turn the light on and grab my color chart... I don't want our conversation to get lost in the excitement of this thread!

We'll be spending Thanksgiving with my 90 year old step-FIL. Hubby's mom passed in July so this will be his first year alone on the holidays. Doesn't sound like his kids will be able to make it here to spend with him so we'll be there for him. He's a sweetheart and we all love being around him. It will be a fun day of eating and visiting...and eating! Ha!
Everyone's Thanksgiving plans sound great. I won't have a Thanksgiving as my daughter is too busy with work to slow down even for one day. (It takes a few days prior preparation anyway.) A couple that I kitty sit for called me and asked what I was doing for Thanksgiving. I thought they were going to invite me to join them, but they just wanted to know if I would kitty sit for them for 4 days while they went to celebrate with the kids & grandkids. Of course I said yes. Can't turn down a few extra $$.
I do plan to make some dressing just for myself as that is the best part of Thanksgiving dinner imho. This year I can't put pork sausage in it though (because of the gout) so I'm not too sure how it will turn out. I'll be using veggie broth rather than chicken broth for moistening. I'm planning on adding A LOT of herbs.

I remember those days. Shift work can really stink and ruin holidays.

Black Friday is a no-buy day for me. I realize there's some fabulous sales, and consumer frenzy is hard for me to understand the day after we celebrate abundance. So. No purchases.
Congratz to the most recent winners!

Sing it, sister! I was in town last night (late night shopping here) to meet DH, and with a lot of pre-Christmas sales it was way too busy for me - I was all hot and bothered by the time I met him. I spotted one thing I'd like, and came home and ordered it online at the sale price with free delivery .
Checking in and out again because I have a headache and feel totally bleah. I think bed is the only sensible option...
Have a great evening.

Here, here! I totally agree with you on the online buying. There's just too many weirdos out trying to beat someone up for the best price on a TV or the doll that "your kid just has to have". Not worth it.
