Well, that answers my secret question that I wasn't gonna ask about whether we are eligible for multiple prizes. I am kind of embarrassed by the good fortune!
I will have to share the love and get some goodies to give away on my blog. I have some stamps from Gourmet and they are very nice. The stamp I used on this HYCCT card is from them.
You won a prize from them last year, didn't you? I think that I bought my stamps from them after I saw some of your winnings at a crop.
That card was already in my favorites! Super pretty!
I did win from them last year! I believe it was supposed to be a prize of $25, but they surprised me 3 stamp sets that went over that award amount. Super awesome!
Wow, I'm blown away & thrilled & excited to have won a prize here!!! Thank you so much, Lydia, the Just Rite stamps look awesome!! I have been looking at this thread to see who has won prizes not thinking for one minute I would -you have turned my wet & miserable Friday afternoon into a good one!!

Congrats to all the recent winners... there sure have been some awesome prize packages!
Love all the kittie photos you've been posting, and thought I'd share this photo of a sweet little cat who showed up on our doorstop and adopted us. She actually belongs to a family on the street behind us, but it looks like we're going to share custody of her, 'cause she's the boss! She follows my DH everywhere, and even goes with him when he walks every day.
Jenn - I volunteer with a cat rescue, so I could hook you up!
Actually, if you're in SLC, you should go to Kanab and visit Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. Largest in the country, and they have amazing places for cats to hang out while they wait for adoption or live out their lives.
I'm not sure what brined means but my DH smoked our turkey last year on our smoker...omg, it's to die for (well maybe not die for), the smoked gravy too. Yummy!
I've brined a turkey but never smoked one. What I'd really like to try is deep frying one. I looked at buying a fryer and there were so many warnings on it that I decided against it but one of my foodie friends swears that the best turkey she ever had was deep fried.

It's the best turkey I've ever had for sure. Plus it only takes 45 minutes. It's not scary - just do it outside and follow the instructions (make sure it's totally thawed)

OMG my friend Mel just told me about them yesterday - sounds like an awesome place! I'm hoping to visit Kanab before convention next year

I have actually been to Kanab and volunteered at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. It is a great place!

Yes, she's a (part-time) keeper! We had to put our Georgie Boy down last winter, and hadn't made the move to adopting another cat. She's really filled a void in our lives, and we're happy to share custody. I call her Moscato... her other family calls her Boots, and she (sometimes) answers to both.

It's amazingly delicious - we do it all the time!
Well, maybe I'll break down and buy one this year. I'll have to check with hubby, see how he feels about it. also will have to check how big a turkey you can put it them. Hubby is a bit compulsive and he picked up a turkey today.
Do you think you can do it in a lanai? you can barbeque in the lanai.
Chris, you absolutely have to try deep-fried turkey. My son did one for us a couple of years ago with Cajun spices injected and it was FABULOUS! Maybe you know someone frying their turkey that would share
Emily, your card is terrific - I left a comment (so proud of myself), I hadn't seen it so I'm glad you posted the link! And double congrats -
Connie, I haven't checked out the recipe yet but it sounds like I am just gonna have to before the night is over. Even if I don't make them I have a friend who will and she WILL share!
Back to making cards. Does everyone else have as much trouble deciding what to do on the inside as I do?

I was in Utah in June/July (when I did some crazy hiking, including Delicate Arch, to reference a convo maybe 20 pages ago)...volunteered at Best Friends for the day. Loved it. Hoping I can go to SU Convention next year and work in another stop for a couple of days.
Apparently I'm getting enough comments about cats that my Gmail filter is marking replies to this thread as "Rescue" to help me sort my inbox. Just because it includes "CAT" doesn't mean it's volunteer related! Hmph!

If you're interested in volunteering at Best Friends, let me know and I can help you get in touch with the right people to set it up. One of my sorority sisters is married to the CEO of Best Friends. She also works there and was a big help when our church group was planning a trip to volunteer there.
CONGRATS!! to the latest round of winners....will be happy stamping going on soon....
Back from B-Ball game and ears ringing and hoarse but I can still type and read....heehee..caught up on all the chat I missed....Connie, those rolls sound delish...am so trying them soon....but I will just make mine by hand. I have a bread machine but I like the process of making bread...very therapeutic....
Congrats to all the recent winners... there sure have been some awesome prize packages!

Our cat does the same. He picked me. He loves my partner,( which is why I'm sure he picked me). And he comes for walks with me! Since the cat loves the other so much I make sure he is the one to get out of bed in the middle of the night to let him out. LOL.

Ohhhh just in time for more prizes to cheer on! I just finished the release party and blog post for tomorrow...still sorting cardstock...I refuse to admit I have tooooooooo much!
Chris, does your pretty kitty have extra toes, or does s/he just have big feet? Love those puppydog eyes too!
Lydia - we should get a group of demos together interested in volunteering for a day or two, and maybe we can stop at the SU factory there before or after convention!
whoops, questions about the furry ones.
the dog loves the cat. the cat tolerates the dog. I've never looked that closely at the kitties paws. it would be really funny to find out that he's polydactyl after all these years. the vet never mentioned it, so he probably just has big feet.
now I'm really saying night night.
