No!!!!! We can't have another warm and dry winter!!! We will burn up the other half of our State next summer if we do....we need cold and lots and lots of snow!!!
Popping in and catching up. We just got back from Brooksville's hottest restaurant. Coney Island. Footlong slaw dog and a mug of ice cold root beer. Kinda wished I had my bacon jam to go with that to make the cholesterol reading peak.

I had two peanut butter cookies for lunch! Bad Lynn! Bad Lynn! And to think I worked out this morning for almost an hour and used up less calories than those two cookies added! Shame on me!

Bacon jam? Never heard of it...is it really what it sounds like?

I wish it had a different name because it's not like jam really. It's like a unicorn married a mermaid and baked you a cake made of glitter.
Yes, it's that good.
Can we get that on a stamp??

I think she was one of the MFT junkies. If she's the one I'm thinking of she was very talented. I'm getting ready to run some errands, I'll have to look later.
I tried it and it was AMAZING! Even my foodie, on his way to being a chef son thought it was awesome. Worth the time for sure, but next time I'll make a double or triple batch!
Hey peeps! Work has been totally crazy yesterday and today - ended up staying late yesterday and today has been trying to catch up on stuff that didn't get done yesterday. Yup, crazy!
But here's the good news - I'm meeting SweetMissDaisy (Anna) this afternoon!! I can't wait! I'm buying one of her Copic storage units and she was sweet enough to meet me halfway instead of sending it through the mail.
Soooo maybe I can jump in on the fun tonight and tomorrow and this weekend?? Still gonna be torturing us for another few days, Miss Lydia?? Hee hee hee!!!

Sadly I actually live IN the Colorado mountains!!!! We are desperate for some good winters!!!!!
That's exciting Holly. I haven't met anyone on SCS yet, but I do have a lot of great friends.
Maybe some day I'll even get to meet Lee & Alison.
Oh gosh, I've met quite a few awesome SCS ladies... TXGrammy, Lydia (yup!! and she's even cuter in person!!), s00zy, sassybee, to name a few. I joined some of the SCS state-based shoebox swaps and we've since had more swaps since that first one. It's so much fun to hug and giggle with these SCS gals in person!!
Consider looking in the swap forum and see if there are any close to you. Maybe you'll meet some new ladies and have a great time!

Now don't go beating yourself up over a slip otherwise it'll take you down. Put it behind you and move on. You're heading in the right direction. I've been meaning to ask how your progress has been coming along.
