Lydia, Is your scrapbox all put together? I love how organized these can be... I can't function unless I am organized..... Good luck to everyone today... It's Tuesday and I'm off to spend the day with Mom.....
If I waited until I was organized, I never function!!! Bwwaahaahaa!
talking about craft room organization,
I found this at World Market for storing my washi tape collection. sorry, I can't post a photo 'cause I can't save one from the website. gotta tell you how absolutely CUTE my washis look on this!!!!
My mother is here visiting and I drive her bananas with my lack of organization. She is currently matching up the, and I quote "literally hundreds of socks" that are without mates in my huge box of unmatched socks.

It's almost good afternoon in my time zone. I'd love a scrapbox but alas I have no where it'd fit!! I'd say my craft room is pretty organized but it sure is messy! I use every bit of space I can find. And when I started stamping I thought it would be a good hobby to put in a shoebox and carry somewhere!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Congrats to all the prize winner so far.
My guess, I'm thinking 1,000,000 views. Probably over the top though.
you said it all. It's beyond the icing on the cake it's the flower on the icing on the cake. If I don't win a thing, it doesn't matter, I'm having fun just being along for the ride. Congrats on your prize and stay well.
I would say I'm organized, however it's hard to get up & go to each room to find something I need. I had a craft room but then I had kids, so I'm making cards in my bedroom but my stamp bookcase is in the dinning room. It would be nice to have a scrapbox one day so I could have it in the dinning room because it would be closed if I'm not using it.
My sewing, well that's another story.
Oh, Gail, thank you, thank you, thank you, for sharing this information...my box of unmatched socks is such a pain in the neck! I keep those darn things just in case a mate should show up from some sock alternate universe or nether world, and it never gets any smaller!
Based on number of views times a loose estimate of average views per card....my guess is... 950,000???

WOW! Never thought of putting the unmatched socks in a box, I always leave them in a pile on the dryer, by the end of the week if nothing is matched, I throw them away. Good idea.
...I'm thinking that I should be more like you, Connie, and throwin' them away at the end of the week is a good idea!

Forgive me for sounding 'practical' here, but I put my socks in net lingerie bags before washing. I never lose a one.
Also, I like different kinds and colors of socks, but if I have several of the same style to wash at the same time, I have some little plastic sock pair-ers that look like tiny eyeglasses. They hold the two socks together in the net bag. That way I'm not putting an old thin sock together with a newer less-worn sock. Sorry, but I have no idea where I got these as I've had them for eons.
there is a pin on pinterest of a framed board with like clothe's pins in a beautiful laundry room and the words above it say... dept. of unmatched socks..
( its kinda cute )

I never thought of a mismatched sock box -- brilliant! I just went through my sock drawer & came up with an entire grocery bag of unmatched socks. I hate to throw them out ...

In FL we don't wear socks too often but before we were here my lovely DD had to wear socks with her school uniform and she was constantly telling me she needed socks. I was pretty busy with work and driving her back and forth to school and doing house stuff so I would tell her to look for them and she could never find them and I didn't have time to take a good look so I would buy them whenever I saw them. One day I started really cleaning her room and moved furniture away from the walls. Behind every single piece of furniture there was a treasure trove of socks. I could have opened a store. To this day I have no idea why or how she got the socks in most of those places and she isn't offering any explanation.
I haven't done much with socks recently. When I was younger I made Barbie clothes with them using a glue gun. You can also fill them with rice and use them as a heat pack or a door stopper. You can make all kinds of cute stuffed animals including sock monkeys....
