Has anyone heard from Gourmet Rubber Stamps?? I've not yet heard from them. Not giving up...sounds like GRS sent goodies to the winners last year, so I'm sure this year will be the same, when we least expect it! I love surprises!

I won a Gourmet Rubber Stamps prize last year and they sent out a package with 3 stamp sets I believe. Mine came in mid-late December if I'm remembering right.
Gail -- fun stuff -- enjoy!! I haven't heard from Just Rite. Maybe now that CHA is over, something will happen. How fun to receive package from Mr. Brown

I'm still waiting on Xyron too. I was encouraged after the email came about someone being out of town. Hopefully it will come soon. I have a friend coming down from Utah for a week of playing and I would really like to have it by then.
We are going to head to San Antonio for a couple of days of play. We'll be there on Feb 7 & 8. Does anyone have any classes or stamp camps going on that we could come and join? Or how about any good scrapbooking stores to check out. I just need to get out of Houston for a few days and play!
Is Stamp Antonio still in business? That was a nice little store. It's been a long time since I've been to SA. (Other than a quick trip to Sea World this past Oct.)

Hey Vickie, I haven't heard anything yet either. Had forgotten about it, until someone mentioned making a card with a HYCCT prize.
I am waiting on the coffee to finish, came home to find an Xyron package on the porch today got the heater on upstairs and headed up there to open it up.

So are we just writing off our Gourmet Rubber Stamps prize? Why would they do that....offer a prize and then not come through? Oh well....I didn't participate in the HYCCT challenges for a prize anyway, just love to do it! Can't wait for next year

I know, I was thinking that yesterday...that it's probably not going to happen but like you said, it's ok, we don't do it for the prize. I bought a stamp a couple of weeks ago with HYCCT in mind!!! It's sooooooo cute!!! Has a kitty on it of course!!! I should probably ink it up one of these days and play with it BEFORE HYCCT so I can see how it looks!

They replied fast, apologized and said they would check into it asap. This was just a couple of days ago, so nothing yet but I'll keep you posted.

I've been thinking of doing the same with Gourmet Rubber Stamps; not that I participated for any prize, but it's the principle of it all as the saying goes. Someone mentioned that GRS sent out a prize package to the "winners" last year but did not contact before sending out (if I remember correctly). So, the vendor would have to have the winners' addresses. I don't think Lydia was giving the vendors any addresses this year, only asking that each vendor contact the respective winners via email?? I'm sure there is just some misunderstanding with JustRite and Gormet Rubber Stamps; I can't imagine these two vendors/companies not fulfilling their commitment to SCS HYCCT event. Just my thoughts!
Vickie -- Just Rite said that this prize had gotten lost in the shuffle, so to speak, even though Lydia had emailed them more than once. I'm thinking that between Christmas and CHA, it just got overlooked. They were super nice - we'll see if the prize shows up LOL!
And I agree with you all -- I don't do these challenges for the prizes (although I do love them LOL). I would do them if there were no prizes available but it is the principal of the thing

thats what I think too. hang in there ladies. I am positive its just an over sight.
I did not ever hear from Xyron directly except for receiving the package from them. I was contacted by a lady who works for scs. ( Lori Craig ) and she got my info from me and sent it on to them.

I'm sorry to hear that some of you are still having trouble with your prizes. I am not a fan of people/companies that do not follow through on commitments. That just leaves a sour taste when something should have been fun and uplifting. I hope whatever the issue, it eventually gets straightened out.
In the meantime, anybody playing along with the Member Co. Love Fest going on right now? I've made one card and hope to make a couple more. I still have a HYCCT prize - Spellbinders leaf dies - that I haven't used yet, so maybe this is my chance!
Michelle, I played in 2 today! So much fun! I haven't started on my CCC for this month so both of the cards were combined with that as well. I am still looking at the last card I made for SNSS challenge. It makes me smile every time I see that snowman's smile!!! LOL This particular SNSS snowman is just too cute!
Wow Gail - I'm excited since I expect a package like that may be showing up one day at my doorstep too (or in the customs office...) Have fun with it. Amazing prizes in HYCCT. Do we know the total number of cards received at the hospital?
Yay, finally! I won a prize from the Love Fest challenges, got my code right away and just got my shipment from The Cat's Pajamas already! Have fun playing when you can squeeze some craft time in.
