Diane, I'll go look at your gallery to see your craft space. I'd have to come in with a bulldozer to clear everything out before I could do any major organizing here. However, I do have a pretty good grasp of what I have. I can't remember if I ever purchased a duplicate stamp. I have two friends who only have a small fraction of what I do, and they are always buying duplicates.
Val...I keep offering to help people organize their crafty spaces if they want to pay my plane fare to get there and put me up for a couple of days. Nobody has taken me up on it yet!

Oh, but wouldn't we have fun if I could afford you! LOL!
Everyone will more than likely be running around so I wanted to take this minute to wish EACH OF YOU... a VERY Merry Christmas!!!!
I say it all the time, but, I TRULY MEAN IT!!!! If it weren't for my Stamping Peeps, my world would SUCK!!!!! I LOVE coming here and chatting with my friends!!! LOVE YA ALL!!!! and God Bless!!!!!
thanks KJ. Unless I'm at MFT I don't have any stamping buddies so SCS is the next best thing.

I was THRILLED to see you enter your CUTE cards into the DD Gallery!!! I see several of my new peeps playing along in the challenges.... Man I have been missing out!!!!
I have NO stamping peeps, so I just have to wing it here....
Good afternoon ladies! I'm planning on ordering Tombo Mono Refills in bulk but haven't before and I was wondering if any of you buy yours in bulk and if so what company you purchase them from? I'm always trying to hunt up coupons for refills (the three packs at Michaels) and my husband's been saying "why don't you just order them in bulk" so.....
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!
I ordered in bulk from Penwa. I got a really large order and it's lasted over a year but I think it brought the price down to something like $2.50 ea. A couple times I split orders with friends to get the lowest price.

As much as I hate the cold I have tons of winter images. My favorite TCP stamps are winter ones so depending on time, I may have a couple more cards this month.
Still haven't been stamping yet, but got most of the Christmas stuff dealt with and got to go shopping with my girls this afternoon. Found a bunch of goodies at M's including some really pretty crocheted flowers in the Christmas $ stuff marked down to .25 and some fun foam and button embellishments. There were also some great BG stamps for .79 and a pack of Christmas dp and plain paper for .89. I should be set for next Christmas and some of the stuff will work well for now too. All in all I spent a few more $$ than I'd planned but it was fun!

Awesome!!! I need to make my list for Alma... I NEED the airplane bun!!!!
so... did I mention that hubs bought me that big shot for Christmas? ( well it has a new home on top of my paper racks today) ( the big tall one was cut in half then a board was bought for the top for it to park on...)
and here's the funny part. it intimidates me. I ordered the skinny die shim thing, ( not here yet ) so the one time I played this week was to do some diecuts and I used my bug...

You are going to love it!!!! I was so new to everything last year when I got mine for my birthday that I watched youtube videos several times to help me get over the intimidation!
What did we do before youtube? I look it up for everything these days!

Geez, having cool stuff and afraid of it... WHAT IS WRONG WITH US???
I used to know what images I have but now I have so many stamps that I found a LOT of forgotten images when I changed my storage scheme over to EVERYTHING by theme. That meant breaking up my sets I'm not done with that project but so far I really like the results. We'll see how it goes long-term.
If you want to see my crafty room, I just posted a tour in my gallery. LOTS of pictures!
Just to let you know I looked at the pics of your craft room (drooling here!) and then spent LOTS of time browsing your gallery. Wonderful cards and lots of inspiration. Can you say CASE?

( tomorrow the extra shims will come for the big shot too)

I like the way you set your stamps out on display. And the Big Shot looks like a perfect fit!
Connie, I have been crafting and collecting antiques for over 20 years... this was not an instant room shot its a ( it breeds in the dark ) is what I tell hubs... but, since we end up junking together he knows what I will pick up and just picks that stuff up and hands it to me now...

Ditto about the Big Shot. I love mine and use it constantly! I don't know what the skinny shim thing is, but I haven't needed it so I guess it doesn't matter. When I first got the Big Shot I wasn't sure whether I got the right tool (instead of CB or Cricket, etc.), but I have since come to the conclusion that the Big Shot was the absolute perfect tool for my purposes. I've never missed not having any other.
I agree also about YouTube. It is amazing the things you can learn about there. I sometimes spend hours just browsing videos.

A terrific looking work space. I guess this is one time that I wish I had a hubs who would build me something pretty.
But PUH-lease tell me that most people's craft spaces looks more like mine than the fantastic spaces we've seen here recently. There will be no photos of my space posted. LOL!

You notice only ONE side of MY room was photo'ed!!!!!!
HAPPY NEW YEAR from chilly north Texas. I just got some new stamps from Simon Says (from the Shop Hop) so I might be doing some stamping until midnight.
I just got home from a week-long trip to visit family for Christmas so I think I will be staying in tonight. Jammies, movies and some craft time are sounding pretty good right now. Hope you all have a happy and safe evening tonight and all the best in 2013!

KJ says she only photographed one side of her room.
I went around three walls...the fourth is a closet. You notice any pics of the closet??? Or in front of the closet doors??? Another photo trick is moving all the clutter, taking a pic, and moving it all back. Plus, I scrounged my photo folders for pics of when things were neater in one place or another, so that I could have "the best picture".

Ya just gotta learn the tricks! LOL!
Sorry - you can't fool me. You have a gorgeous, neat, wonderfully organized space. Even with those tricks my spaces wouldn't look like much. Things are spread throughout the house in at least 4 rooms on card tables, metal folding tables, typewriter stands, boxes, etc. Funny thing about it - I can usually find what I'm looking for, at least the stuff that I use regularly. And I do try to put it back in the same place.
Ha! I DID fool you! I have a bit too much of my dad's packrat tendencies...and a bit too much procrastination for my own good.
But thank you for thinking it is gorgeous and neat and wonderfully organized! Well, it IS organized, I'll grant you that one! LOL!
My whole family was/is pack rats from my parents to me to my daughter. And my daughter and I are in competition for the title of Procrastination Queen. In fact, I'm in the process of procrastinating at this very moment!
