Morning Connie! I got the five cards done for the Saturday CAS200 challenges but none for the Sunday challenges. Guess I'll work on them slowly over the holidays.
My email came from the Rubber Cafe! I'll be working on a wish list for there!
I got my e-mail from Rubber Cafe, too! Yay! Already had my list, so my order is in.
I only had a chance to do the first three challenges for the CAS200 party -- had a very busy weekend. I'll be working on the rest this week.
I heard from the Cat's Pajama, made my selections and I had my wonderful gifts by the end of the week. Fast service, wonderful products, and a great big huge thank you to Cat's Pajamas for supporting our efforts this year for HYCCT!!!

Hey Connie, yes I did get my Pazzles on Friday. It came late in the day so I didn't have time to do more than open the box. WE went out Friday night, then yesterday I went to MFT and didn't get home till late and today we are going to a party. Tomorrow we have doctor visits during the day and then we going to see a play. Usually I have nothing much to do but it's hectic now and isn't going to lighten up till after the holidays.
I'd really like to spend some time looking at the Pazzle but today is not the day.
Oh, how exciting! That box would be calling my name in the middle of the night. "Open me, play with meeeeeee" But it will still be there when things settle down for you, and I'm looking forward to seeing what you create.
How nice that you get to go to MFT personally. I don't mind shopping online, and I do quite a bit, but I really prefer to "see" and "touch" when I'm shopping.
Hope everyone enjoyed their weekend, hoping this week goes by fast for me. My daughter has a poetry presentation on Thursday morning, she has to read in front of everyone wearing a mustache plus it's a poem she wrote herself. I'm going to ask my boss if I could either work half day or day off, I could always call in sick....hmmmm!
Stay warm ladies, it snowed last night which made everything slippery & icy today, but it sure is beautiful.
Connie, I hope you get to watch your dd present her poem and that she is relaxed and does well. I presented "The Raven" by Edgar Allen Poe to a group when I was a H.S. freshman. They weren't all that impressed, but the problem was that too many people had chosen that poem. Poe has always been a favorite of mine, along with Frost and Sandburg.
I'd love to see the snow, but am glad I don't have to drive in it. Be careful. It's 31 here today and it's possible that we might get a flurry or two this week. Snow is always a big event in Texas.
What did you order Lois? I'm hemming and hawing between Nesties or stamps.
I've been eyeing the Polka Dot rectangle nesties for some time, so that was my main "purchase." Then I ordered some basic supplies I've been needing -- scor-tape and a Copic C-3 ink refill. I wanted to try not to go over the $50. My total order was $50.98!
I got my email too, but I haven't even pre-shopped. The last time I did that, the company sent me some pre-selected stamps so, though I looked, I didn't get my mind set on anything this time around. I may go with dies as well, but I'll have to take a browse later today.
I got some cards made for the CAS party challenges last night and I'm trying to get them uploaded now.
This is my week to really push through my holiday preps as we'll be traveling early this year. DD comes tonight to make her Christmas cards....first ones as a newlywed couple! I'm thinking that this will be my time to finish off the cards I need for our friends...have all the family ones covered I think.
My dd had another audition this week and this one went much better. We made a huge error allowing her to do her first audition at her first choice school.. but we let her make that decision. Oh well... everything happens for a reason!
Aw, yay, for a good audition and a mom salute to you for letting her make her own choices even when they don't go how you'd like.

Hi all,
Just thought I'd check in tonight and see if there was any news from Stampin Belle or Xyron. I still haven't heard from either of them. But didn't see that anyone else had either. So I guess i wait a little longer. I thought I had all my Christmas cards out last week, but tonight I was going over the list again to update some addresses and saw 4 names I had nnot checked off yet. So I need to make up 4 more cards, because I have used everything I had made.
Sounds like lots of you are already having fun with your winnings. Post pics.
The stamp set and die of the bird cage from MFT looks great. I finally got a couple of punches I have been trying to get for ages. The MS branch punch andthe picket fence. The branch punch has been out of stock every time i have tried to order it. They came today. so I am going to incorporate it into a Christmas caard tonight.
Everybody have fun. i'll check back in a few days. Busy days ahead for a few with work and doctor appts. TTFN Pat

Congratulations to all the winners. I was out of town for a week and received my first the first installment of three months in the club from Really Reasonable Ribbon....can't wait to use it. Nice to be the recipient of this prize and get to make cards that go to a great cause.

I keep looking at The Cat's Pajamas website hoping that one set I picked out will come back in stock so I can put together an order. I guess I'll need to do it soon and pick something else if it doesn't. Either way, it's amazing to receive a gift for doing something that was a gift in itself.

Another story about my dd --- she's a senior in high school, right? I was just thinking a few weeks ago about all those projects I did with my kids for school. All the posters, dioramas, etc. Reminiscing and also happy that was over because neither of my kids likes anything crafty!! Sure enough, doesn't dd tell me she has to do a diorama type project of a stage set for her theater class. And it's due Wednesday!!! Needs to be fully furnished. I was like "BRIDGET - that's two days from now!" She, purposely ignoring my panic, says "I know, plenty of time, right?"
Well, of course we got it done and it's pretty awesome. I emailed the neighbors, they came through with dollhouse furniture. My woodgrain background stamp made it look like the cabin it was supposed to be. DD's daughter's eyes were huge when I pulled out one tool after another....
I feel all my purchases are totally justified now.
Plus we had a blast doing it. I hope I remember that night forever.

Will have to check that out!!

Paula -- my kids are half Italian (me) and half Irish (the other) Her name is Bridget Rose Lucia LOL!!
How's your other's eyes??
Pretty good. His near vision isn't as sharp as it should be but they're hoping it will settle in. He's very happy to see with his eyes instead of through glass, though. I'm a little nervous about him driving in the dark tonight, but he said he'd be fine.
My mom's family is half Italian. One of my cousins is Abigail Lena-Rose.

You know I just noticed that MFT sent me a sentiment stamp set (clear) FREE instead of the FREE one they were offering which was the ice cream scoop but oh well. I'm buying another stamp set with the refund money they applied back to me.

Paula -- my kids are half Italian (me) and half Irish (the other) Her name is Bridget Rose Lucia LOL!!
How's your other's eyes??
that's almost my story. My father was Italian and my mother was Irish (with some German that hardly ever got acknowledged). Hubby's Italian on both sides. My DD is named Liddy Rose.
