Hi guys -- I have my follow-up appointment with the surgeon who did my spinal surgery 8 weeks ago. I am hoping he gives me the green light to go back to the gym before I pop the button off my jeans!!

I am going to shop at Sweet N Sassy stamps today - 30% off Christmas stamps. I love that Rhubarb bear. I don't have any of SNS stamps yet - time to give them a go

Yippee! I got an email from MFT this morning! It will take me a long time to shop as they have so many wonderful stamps, dies, etc. So far I've just got a list of dies - haven't done any serious looking at the stamps yet.
But this morning I'm off to work at the church library. See y'all later.

I think I've just died an gone to heaven!!!!!! Can't believe I won another prize in the HJYCCT challenge. This is just beyond my wildest dreams!!! It was so much fun making these cards for such a great cause, that I didn't even look at the list of companies sponsering prizes, as I did it because I wanted to. No prizes necessary. However, I am excited I won and thank you from the bottom of my heart !

That's for sure. I won MFT last year. I used through my gift certificate and still had a huge wish list! They have great variety.
Oh gosh, yes! I just got a sweet package (I ordered during their Black Friday sale) from them last night and it was wrapped so beautifully! I got a bunch of buttons and a couple stamps and a die. I had so much fun opening that box - all those colors of buttons are gorgeous!

Good report from the surgeon! Although I have to be careful for a couple more months, I can go back to the gym as long as I do very light weights and low impact activities. I have about 25 lbs to lose and it's hard to do that if you can't exercise!

Vicki - so glad for your good report! Be very careful and don't overdo, as tempting as it might be to work a little bit harder to reach your goal. Too bad I can't give you my results after neck surgery - I could barely swallow for weeks and lost 23 lbs. You could have moved a small family into the seat of my pants, LOL-

Vicki - so glad for your good report! Be very careful and don't overdo, as tempting as it might be to work a little bit harder to reach your goal. Too bad I can't give you my results after neck surgery - I could barely swallow for weeks and lost 23 lbs. You could have moved a small family into the seat of my pants, LOL-
I will be careful - or I'll try to be anyway. Usually the only thing that stops me is pain. The doc tried his best to warn me to stop before I am in pain LOL.
And I bet that I wouldn't have lost 23 lbs even if I couldn't swallow. I would have spent the entire time trying to swallow ice cream!

I got my 2nd email today. My order is being shipped from Chic & Savvy plus I received an email today from MFT & they gave me a code to spend a $100 on their website....so excited.
Vicky....so glad to hear the good news....just remember what happened the last time you overdid it and you should be fine...sounds like it's healing well....

MFT is really good with getting orders processed quickly. Pazzle sent out the Raul 11. I got a notification from UPS that it's scheduled for delivery next Friday.
I also won a Verve prize. That's already being shipped too.

Thanks Jodylynn. I love papercrafting, some days it comes easy as can be and other days I struggle. either way I'm doing what I like.
there's an Italian cookie called a pizzeli. they are yummy. My aunt makes one of the best ones I've ever tasted. Other than those cookies I have no idea what a Pizzle is, and I wouldn't have known what a pazzel was without seeing it here.
I just ordered from MFT using my winning $100 gift cert. Can hardly wait to get my items. Have never used their dies and ordered quite a few and anxious to try them out!! I haven't heard from Copics yet about my prize from them. But I'm sure it'll be coming soon, I hope? And just what is a "pizzle"???????

That's the first thing I did. I wanted a few items that were already backordered so I got other things I like. I got quite a few dies especially the bird cage, bird & stamps set...I can't wait to take a picture of my goodies. I spent $2.70 over but that's fine. Can't wait to see what everyone is getting.
