I don't know what "without the cheese" means, although it looks like English!!
Isn't it AMAZING?? And so easy!
Hahaha...neither do my kids. I used about 1/2 the cheese in the recipe because I knew my kids would put cheese on top no matter how much I put in it! Yep, it is easy so the family came home to a yummy dinner and I got to take the afternoon to work on my round 2 entry for the CAS design team search!
Congratulations Chris! Wish I hadn't gone off to bed early last night. But this was still very funny today as well. I can just imagine everyone at their computers waiting for your response! You will have so much fun with that machine. You can name him Raul II.
My kids locked one of my babies in the van once with the keys inside! You get locksmiths to come real fast when you tell them a baby is involved.
My kids used to lock themselves in the bathroom so we switched the handles around and that worked until they started locking us inside!!!
Hi, y'all! Just checking in to see what's going on. And because we promised Lydia we would!
I've been playing with my new favorite stamp today. I don't have pics yet but it is totally gorgeous - here's a link to an image if you're in the market for Christmas stamps: stampendous poinsettia background - Google Search
Oh wow if the link doesn't shorten itself when I post this I'll edit!

Our local grocery chain, Wegmans, has free in-store babysitting. Both of my kids loved to go there -- it was awesome! Sometimes we went to Wegmans and I would just sit and have coffee while the kids played in the play area. It was the best!

Good evening ladies....you sure have been talkative. My Madison Window came today from Chick & Savvy, the lady wrote a nice note saying thank you & she sent me a free clear stamp. I can't wait for my surprise from them for the Spellbinder gift.

if any of you with small ones end up road tripping in the NW most the Fred Meyer grocery stores have that now too.

you know what else would be fun? is if they took photos after they started opening all the mail
That would be nice to see patients go through our cards, I would love to see that. My family & friends love seeing my cards come through the mail without them knowing is the best part.

As a little kid, I locked myself in the house (parents outside) and also in the bathroom. I locked, but then didn't know how to unlock. They talked me through unlocking the doors both times.

We had Fred Myers in Arizona, but I didn't have kids then. We have Kroger but I hardly grocery shop, my DH does so we either all go or I'll stay home. The girls listen more to him than I.

I shopped at Wegmans when I visited my friend in Webster! You just gave me a fond memory of that visit.

When I visit my SIL in Woodbridge, VA we always make a trip to Wegman's. What a grocery store.
I'm so happy w/ my winnings and sad that HYCCT is all over. This was my first and what fun. I will be looking forward to next year.
It's been fun talking w/ you all.
See that's the part I don't get... even though this thread is over the limit... ( the site has not crashed) so... what's to stop us from having a new thread something like HYCCT2 chatter?? why does it have to end?

My sister had a Piggly Wiggly in Indiana.... I wanted to shop there just cuz the name made me giggle!!!!
we used to spend spring break in Hilton Head with two other families -- all the kids bought piggly wiggly t-shirts that said "I'm big on the Pig" ... no way I would wear a shirt that said that!!

I agree!
I didn't know threads had limits...
I say - let's keep going!

I was thinking that exact thing this afternoon. We could just make a new thread and keep chatting until we start the challenges again next year. We could even have a challenge or two throughout the year to keep some cards coming in to MD Anderson. I am really going to try to send some more throughout the year.

Great idea!!! I love that I'm not the only one who wants to keep chatting!!

I thought if the thread reached 5000, you had to start another one. We should keep going & going & going.
Connie - wasn't it you that said you had bowled a 300 game?? Did I mention that my dad and brother both owned bowling alleys? I was a pretty good bowler but certainly never bowled a 300!!!

I don't understand about the thread limits either. I say keep posting here until they won't let us.
But Lydia said she was going to set up a thread where we could post things we make with our winnings, and that could certainly be a general chat thread also to keep us going through the year. Once she gets that set up, she can tell us the parameters of that thread.
OMG!!! finally got through all the chatter....I was so tired when I got home last night (work turned into 15 hrs instead of 12) that I almost fell asleep in my cereal bowl. Today I played in the craft corner and then went and watched my Shockers win over Tulsa.....I sure missed an entertaining night here....but it was just as funny reading it tonight....oh my, Chris you are a riot.....and you will have so much fun with your new toy....
CONGRATS!!!!! to all the winners...this has been such a fun HYCCT and it will really fun to see what y'all create with your prizes....I'm glad someone thought of that....

Yes, bedtime for me now too. I just had to do some of my work for getting ready for tomorrow. I am so far behind because I took time off while DH wa home over thanksgiving. I think I need to just retire. But DH wants the extra income until we get our house built at the lake. That will be our only house if we ever get organized enough to build it. Plan to retire there. So long story short - I have to keep working for a while. Nite Nite all.

Yep, Jan 23, 1991 I had a 757 series. 212, 300, 245 were my games.
I averaged 210 for over 8 years, been bowling since I was 6yrs old & coming from a bowling family I just kept it going after all these years, well up until Kaitlyn was born which was 9yrs ago. I love it & hoping I get back into it. My husband was semi pro & he taught me how to throw a hook ball, going out to the 1 board & come right back into the pocket.
Are you in a league? Where did they own bowling alleys?

get out of town! my uncle owned one, needless to say my cousins bowl very well. I stink, at bowling that is. We had a league at work and I came in last. fortunately, no one on my team took it that seriously. As if people who took it seriously would ever let me bowl on their team.

you should be taking Kaitlyn bowling with you. it's a great family game and she's old enough. We used to take the Girl Scouts when they were that old, but then they put bumpers in the alley so maybe 9 is young - not sure but it's worth a try. If they had put those bumpers in the alleys when I was playing I might have been a contender.

I would SO ROCK THAT SHIRT!!!! I'm a BACON FREAK... so Yeah, I'm BIG ON THE PIG!!!!! Can I get it in Sparkly Purple???
