This is based on my study of my own family - two of whom tried to claw their way out of MRI machines and had to be tranquilized in a dramatic fashion (both Tauruses btw LOL) and then three of us that peacefully go to sleep all snug in the tube.
Just wait till I win millions with my theory!
Hey! I'm a Taurus and I about fell asleep when I had not one but both knees in the MRI tube that was up to the middle of my chest!
Lydia, I am the same way. I hate MRI's. Talk about panic attacks!! The last one took me three times to stay in. I hope and pray I never have to have another one or I will have to be sedated.
I have to be sedated. That's the best part of the MRI.

Here's another bridge from VA that you guys would probably rather avoid. Saves a lot of time, but it would be hard to keep your eyes shut or hold your breath the whole way.
The bridge over Lake Ponchatrain (sp???) is no prize either!
Um, no. Broke down on the way to Disneyworld when I was a kid. My mom, my brothers, and I all got a lift in a cop car to a Waffle House or something next to a mechanic while my dad waited for a tow truck. Mom was freaking out!

It was my mom's biggest fear when she started her breast cancer treatment. She was more scared of the MRI she needed than the surgery that followed! She did fine though with some conscious sedation.

OMG! Seriously??? I would love to see Al Pacino on stage. We now fly in. I don't mind paying for the flight but I HATE paying for the cab in from Laguardia. Not to mention that you can NEVER get out of Laguardia on time.
Last time we went in, we had tickets for Promises Promises. First month of the run. Kristen Chenowith starring. We were so excited. yeah. we saw the understudy. Kristen was sick.....
she's a pistol. saw her in the Apple Tree at the Roundabout. most uncomfortable theatre ever. well, one scene she entered climbing up steps and singing. she tripped on one of the top stairs, cracked her self up, said something funny, cracked the audience up and went right back to the song, but she laughed a couple times while singing, it was so dang cute. she is just wonderful.
we had tickets for Wicked, she left one week earlier but Idina Mendell was still in it.

August and September are chock full of birthdays around here. My two sons were born in August, as was my late husband. My mom and one of my stepsisters both have August birthdays. Then rolls September -- my daughter, one of my daughters-in-law, and two of my grandchildren.

OMGosh - Gail --- this is the one I was talking about earlier! This is my worst nightmare! You are on a bridget and then you are in a tunnel and then you are on a bridge and then you are in a tunnel --- and there is NO LAND to be seen!!! I hate it!!!!

That's my daughter Erin's birthday. She was born exactly 1 yr later on the same day my 1st Great Pyr died.
I had the only September birthday in my family until my brother-in-law came along with the same birthday as me. I'm getting used to "sharing" my birthday now.

Beautiful! Those bridges give me a thrill, but in a good way. I always marvel at the beauty and magnitude of them. (I'm not a Virgo.)

Aw! I kind of want a birthday buddy, but my soon to be cousin by marriage is the day after me and that's close enough.

WOW! Sounds like our family on our trip to San Francisco to see my mom's family. We ended up breaking down in the middle of no where, waiting for a tow truck, we asked for a ride home back to San Diego in back of a pick up truck with a stranger...couldn't do it now, I was about 11 back then. Golden Gate bridge is another one, my mom was one of the 1st to walk across it, she was 12

I'm OK with bridges except for the parts where the grid-like stuff is and when you're going up them....had a recurring dream where I'm stuck on a bridge that is raised up and the car falls off.
That stinks. we saw Spamalot with the original cast - Tim Curry, David Hyde Pierce, and Hank Azaria. The last show we saw was Fiddler on the Roof with Topol, which was really cool, too.
Great cast for Spamalot. DH and DD loved that one. I pretty much hated it except for "I'm not dead yet".
I took DD to see Young Frankenstein. At intermission a woman in front of me said to her friend "this is the stupidest thing I've ever seen" I turned to DD and said "she hasn't seen Spamalot". that story comes up a lot for us.

Exactly -- keep the traffic moving. But God forbid it stop! LOL!
I saw Idina Menzel in Rent - first year of the run. Now I'm a lifelong fan. We just saw her in concert here in Rochester two weeks ago. Her husband is from here! Who knew?
he's a hunk! they met during Rent. Was she barefoot? she talked about doing shows barefoot in an interview on the radio. she's from LI.

Lol!! We loved it! We saw it in Chicago before it went to Broadway and the cast was so excited and happy! It really made the show! I don't know if I'd like it with other people. I also saw the original cast of Beauty and the Beast before they went to Broadway and they were AMAZING! My aunt took me for Christmas.

He sure is!! No, she wasn't barefoot in person, but she was on the PBS special she did with Marvin Hamlish. They filmed that in Toronto, which is just across the lake from us. (which would be great if there was a bridge but there isn't - we have to drive around Lake Ontario so it takes 3 hours).
She was amazing in person.
