WOW!!! I am so behind on this thread!!! I don't think I'd ever catch up. I don't think I have done much stamping since October 31! I just got done making some sample cards for a volunteering I do at my church. I teach a group of children how to make cards and we sell them, and then give our earnings to charity. I even have BOYS stamping!!!! I have been obsessing on my family tree lately and not over stamping! Looks like you all are keeping up the chatter!
OMG! Seriously??? I would love to see Al Pacino on stage. We now fly in. I don't mind paying for the flight but I HATE paying for the cab in from Laguardia. Not to mention that you can NEVER get out of Laguardia on time.
Last time we went in, we had tickets for Promises Promises. First month of the run. Kristen Chenowith starring. We were so excited. yeah. we saw the understudy. Kristen was sick.....
That stinks. we saw Spamalot with the original cast - Tim Curry, David Hyde Pierce, and Hank Azaria. The last show we saw was Fiddler on the Roof with Topol, which was really cool, too.

I once went over the Throg's Neck Bridge three times trying to get to Long Island to see a boyfriend -- that was before GPS's ..
I don't mind bridges but I absolutely hate tunnels. The Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel is my idea of hell.
I oncre had a flat tire in the Holland Tunnel.
I was OK with tunnels till claustrophobia got stepped up a notch. It wasn't too bad until I went into a coal mine in Scranton. It got out of hand there and because my DD was there I was praying that I would not start screaming, it was in my throat just dying to get out. I was actually jumping up and down in the seat on the ride out.
Now I'm not fond of tunnels, but if the traffic keeps moving it's OK.

Hubby is from Bronx. when his dad was alive we used to pick him up and go that way to his sister's on LI.
I got lost going out to his sister's, no GPS then. Now I don't leave home without it.

Exactly -- keep the traffic moving. But God forbid it stop! LOL!
I saw Idina Menzel in Rent - first year of the run. Now I'm a lifelong fan. We just saw her in concert here in Rochester two weeks ago. Her husband is from here! Who knew?

Virgos make awesome stampers.
Oh and re: claustrophobia - I'm going for the Nobel Prize in medicine with my theory that it is a genetic disorder. This is based on my study of my own family - two of whom tried to claw their way out of MRI machines and had to be tranquilized in a dramatic fashion (both Tauruses btw LOL) and then three of us that peacefully go to sleep all snug in the tube.

You'd never make it in the Hampton Roads area of VA where you have to use bridge/tunnels to get anywhere and some of the tunnels are over 3 miles and the tourists always slow down in them because they freak out when the bridge goes away and the tunnel takes you under the water! I always had to talk to my mom the whole time we were going through because she is claustrophobic. There were lots of accidents and traffic associated with them. It is one part of VA that I don't miss at all!!!!

I'd have to become a hermit!

Virgos love pumpkin pie August! Born on St. Bartholomew's Day!
August babies are the best! My mom the 16th, me the 20th, my DD the 26th. and lots of my friends and other relatives.
I was three weeks early. I think there's so many August babies because there's so much holiday happiness it just leads to private celebrations.
or lots of drinking...

Lol on the August baby theory! the 16th is my husband's birthday. The day that Elvis died. Not the same year, though!

Lydia, I am the same way. I hate MRI's. Talk about panic attacks!! The last one took me three times to stay in. I hope and pray I never have to have another one or I will have to be sedated.
