Connie - your quilled snowman is adorable! I used to do some quilling but haven't even thought of it until you mentioned it the other day. He's really cute! Good that you can exchange ideas with your friend. I have one friend who loves stamping and all crafts as much as I do - unfortunately she lives 1600 miles away. But with our cell phones and computers we have worked our way through a few projects over the years.
Good to see that Lydia did pop in today. I'll check back later to see what's happening.

Thanks Pat! I'm looking forward to making more things. I've always wanted to try it just got nervous thinking it was hard. I'm glad my friend is getting back into card making, my last friend that I used to it with passed away 3yrs ago, I think we did more laughing than card making.
I'll see you later when Lydia comes back, I have to run & get the girls some snow boots because we are expecting snow tomorrow.
Just made it back home from our trip to TN. It was good to visit family and spend Thanksgiving but I am glad to be home. Is everyone "turkey'd" out? I was thinking a good ole grilled burger would be great right about now, lol.

Glad you made it back safely! Isn't it funny how we spend so much time preparing for Thanksgiving but when you hit the Turkey wall, boy it's time for something else. We have interspersed other things with our turkey so I am not completely avoiding it yet. But whatever is left after tomorrow is going into the freezer to be put into Trukey and dumplings or something. And we are having pork chops for our dinner tonight, but using up some of the sides etc. Then they will almost be gone.
Will check in again later. Oh yes, I did get my Gallery put into my signature line - Thanks again Dina and Diane. I feel so techie now - lol - But I am glad I learned something new.

Hmm - I was thinking more along the lines of pizza!
Isn't home a wonderful place!

We didn't have enough turkey leftovers to get tired of them... good thing we have another turkey in the freezer! I may make up a pot of turkey soup tomorrow... today I have a sugar hangover on top of my viral stuff and froggy voice... school should be interesting!
Heading off to small group time so I'll check in later! We have eaten pretty much all the leftovers but the turkey! I made a yummy risotto last night with some of the stock I made from the carcass. That is probably my favorite part of cooking turkeys!
Since we had our Thanksgiving last night, I was all for it eating a smoked turkey leg with sweet potatoes for lunch. I could see maybe on Tuesday, I'll get sick of it.
Hi everyone --- back home from Thanksgiving. Christmas trees are up, house is decorated and I am settling in for the evening with my crocheting, computer and REVENGE!! Tammy -- I'm caught up and looking forward to tonight!
Connie - your snowman is adorable!

I took the turkey meat and added it to some butternut squash soup, with some rice from Thanksgiving- then added some powdered curry and ground black pepper. Even threw in some washed orange peels for a little zing! It sure is nice to have something easy on hand to eat I've been making holiday cards and spending time with the family- tomorrow, back to our usual schedule!

don't tempt me! I know it starts in the US on Jan. 6 and I cannot wait! Love that show. Having a little snack of cranberry salsa with cream cheese and wheat thins. Then I need to get back to my Sunday night chores - laundry, making lunch for work tomorrow, etc. I'm so not ready for the holiday weekend to be over!

It's 2:15 am and I can't sleep! I don't know why - no coffee, tea, or other sleep-stealing substances! So I thought I'd pop in here and say hi....
Confession - even though I live in the U.K., I've never watched Downton Abbey! A friend is going to lend me the first two seasons on DVD, I have a lot of catching up to do!

Cranberry Salsa? I think I need go to look up a recipe for that!
I didn't go grocery shopping and we are out of leftovers, so anything food-related catches my attention tonight.
I'm still excited about getting some new stamps and/or. Does anyone have a favorite from The Cat's Pajamas that they'd recommend? I'm a SU girl, but I love new toys to try out every now and then.

Bridget - once you start, you won't be able to stop watching! I have enjoyed every minute - and so has my daughter.
Sorry about the insomnia. I suffer from that also - annoying!!! But I do get a lot of reading done...

I'll post the recipe in the recipe box thread for you! It is yummy.
I'm a big fan of The Cat's Pajamas. I love everything bunny - and of course Sprinkle the cat, too. The new release coming out Monday is cling rubber but most of the stamps are clear. They have some really cool dies, too. And if you need twine, they have just about every color!
That wasn't much help, was it?

They have a new release coming out on Tuesday with some cute Christmas sets! But you can't go wrong with any of their older sets. They also have fun dies, twine, seam binding ribbon, and sturdy Neenah classic crest cardstock.

Michelle, I'll look for it over there. Anything that is good with cream cheese and Wheat Thins sounds great to me. I'm making a list of appetizers for Christmas Eve and that sounds perfect! Thank you.
I'm not big on coloring (not good at it), but I think I could make the bunny work for me with a little shading. I love Freezin' Season and I hope it comes back in stock by the time I get to order. I'm just not sure about inks with the clear stamps. I know Staz On is a no-no, so I need to figure that out. I need to go back over and browse again. So exciting to have won something!
Thanks ladies for the compliments on my quilled snowman card. Oh dear, we went to get the girls warm boots & right next door there's a TJ Max, shouldn't of went in there but I did & this what I came out with. The punch is reg. $14.99 got it $3.99, clear stamps regular $9.99 got them for $1.49 & the Decorative paper pack regular $15.99 got it for $3.99--WOW
