IFC62 1/18/10 Scrapbook Play #97: Use Memorabilia Instead of a Photo
Sometimes memorabilia can say so much more than a photo. And sometimes you just don't have any photos of the treasured event but you do have some memorabilia.
Your challenge this week is to tell your story on your layout using memorabilia instead of photos. You digi scrappers may choose to scan your memorabilia in and then proceed with your layout as normal.
Please use the keywords IFC62 when uploading your layouts to the gallery.

I did it! I have tons of stuff from the kid's elementary school days, so it was pretty easy. And I am going to invite a friend of mine to play along, to get her some inspiration to get pages in her books!

Awesome idea, I was pulling out my Ephemera box to do an Ali Edwards type layout for all my Christmas cards, and realized I have a TON of stuff in there! I made a trip down to IL in June, and we went to all of the museums and Lincoln Landmarks. This will be a perfect opportunity to use some of it!

Awesome idea, I was pulling out my Ephemera box to do an Ali Edwards type layout for all my Christmas cards, and realized I have a TON of stuff in there! I made a trip down to IL in June, and we went to all of the museums and Lincoln Landmarks. This will be a perfect opportunity to use some of it!

I started "digging" for some memoriabilia and came up with several ideas. So this page is just to get me started. The first page is all memoriabilia but I did add a photo to the 2nd page...you know, one of those group photos. :p
I actually did another layout, with one page of just memorbilia with maps of Yellowstone and the next page with photos. Maybe I do this more than I thought...

This is such a GREAT Challenge Jenn! This time I knew I would scrap the event, even w/o pictures. It was for my DS and he even mentioned how glad he was I scrapped it. :-D
