I am loving all the pictures! I will take a pic of my desk later on...right now it is covered in cardboard and paper and a wooden rack that I spent all day yesterday painting so all my craft stuff got thrown on the floor! LOL
Holey Moley! I am almost too embarrassed to show this photo. My desk is so messy! At least now I will be forced to clean it up so I can post an "after" picture!
I love seeing everyone's crafting areas...messy or not!
Whew, thank goodness you didn't ask to see the floor in my area...that's were I put everything between projects and crops. My desk is usually a little more scatter than this, but on Monday I reorganized my Copics...so I had to clean my desk to be able to screw everything in place. My Copics used to be in the basket on the middle shelf, but I was looking for a way I wouldn't have to "hunt and peck" every time I wanted to find a color. I used 9 stacking bins, 3 bars to hold the bins, and a can of spray paint...not bad for $16!

hey, there's a winner for "messiest" not for "cleanest"!

UNfortunatelly, mine is worse and I guess if you can take a pic of yours, I just might take a pic of mine

Alright, I busted out the crafting gear today to create my card for TGF's Monday sketch! I snapped a picture of the resulting mess on the dinner table Although it doesn't look too bad now, since I've only made one project. After I've made a couple of different cards I usually have a wide range of supplies spread out lol

My little sewing machine is a Janome - it's all metal construction and works wonderfully. I got it on the Hancock website for $50. I have 4 other machines (one in the background), but the Janome stays out all the time. I even made my drapes on that little bugger. Thanks for asking!
Oh do I have pictures. A dear friend is helping me over haul my craft room. It has been a work in progress for weeks. Now I have trouble remembering where I put things, but it is so much easier to craft in.

Looks like you've got a buddy to scrap with, lol...what a cutie! Oh my, do you put everything away when you sit down to eat...or is there another spot for dinner? LOL!

A couple more questions...is it battery operated? If so...is it really light weight? I've gone through two battery operated machines and haven't much luck with them, but would be willing to give a third a try if I had a good recommendation. I don't like hauling my big machine out and trying to find an outlet for it everytime I want to sew on a project. TIA!

Great before and after pictures. Do you have a separate table to use your copics at?!! You can color me green with envy if you do!

Nope it's electric. It is light weight, but has enough weight to do real work. Check out the website I linked to (in purple) and you can see all the information on the machine. There are also web videos specifically for using this machine to papercraft.
I am so new to posting anything. Here is the rest of my craft room. And yes one area for coloring and the other side for stamping and whatever else. I have a wonderful husband that made this craft room for me years ago, and finally 8 years later it's really getting organized.

Wow, Eva 91! Looks like you have a bunch of cute projects laying around!!!
thanks! i'd display my cards if i had more space! though i'm happy with what i have now since i used to craft on the coffee table and then on the floor. can't wait til the kids have less toys so i can take over the playroom! that is my plan. hehe.

totally agreed with you there! I live in a loft apartment, so the kitchen / living room / entryway area is all open and visible from the majority of the place, so having stuff strewn about isn't very visitor-friendly or neat looking, plus I have to get up from the floor or countertop anytime I need to get anything. Plus having the cats walk over / play in your stuff or having to look at a pile of dirty dishes doesn't exactly inspire creativity. Someday I'll have a house with a dedicated craft space!
I have a spare desk upstairs, I put it in my daughters room for her little crafty projects and her homework...but all it does is collect clutter since she prefers to do her homework and drawing stuff downstairs. Guess at some point I ought to go through the desk and purge all the stuff in it she doesn't use (all my way old stamping supplies that I started out with...she got the hand me downs as I built my collection of "better" stuff). I'd totally give it to you if you weren't in another state
