I agree about the Revoluntion girl also all the fights, some of them are so fake looking and really one guy can survive all those other guys during a fight.
I also have to say that I watched Nashville - what a typical plot - I was disappointed with it.
oh! I did watch Nashville. Not sure what I think, but yeah, was pretty predictable. Was cool to see a show filmed in my town and all the places we go to, have been to, etc. Pretty cheesy though, I'm thinking....

So our challenges are 1) Retro Re-run: make a project based on a classic TV show or in black & white and 2) I Love Lucy: make a project inspired by your favorite TV show - past or present.

I try not to watch shows unless they've had a whole season run and get renewed. I got tired of having my heart broken. Of course, this backfired as we're WAY behind on Castle now. I hear they're on their 5th season and we haven't watched episode one!

Ok, I have to share a funny typo. I am still learning my iphone and typed a text to hubby and sent without looking. It changed my friend's name from Noeila to Noodles so my hubby was like where are you? I now check before sending.

Thanks! I guess I should have said what shows they were for....huh? Challenge one is for Happy Days and Challenge two is for Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Did you see her little stake? FYI - Buffy's stake is called "Mr. Pointy"

Aeryn - none taken! I don't like Lucy Liu so I haven't seen it but I do like Johnny Lee Miller so I thought I would see what everyone else thinks. It is on demand you know.
Jess - I haven't watched Grey's since the funeral several seasons ago. I keep thinking I should catch up. And I like Once Upon A Time! We watch Person of Interest too.

I'm disturbed by a female Watson (even though I do like Lucy in general) and the inevitable "bastardization" of their relationship when they start flirting because with a man and a woman it's okay all of a sudden. The Watson/Holmes relationship is special, they shouldn't be messing with it like that. Plus, it's SO obvious the Americans saw BBC's Sherlock and said "hey, we could do that, only worse because we've never read nor do we respect the stories!"
(I may be a bit peeved)

Happened to us with Tru Calling especially, but a bunch of other things. Especially if it's on Fox, we won't watch it until it's dug in a bit because they're so trigger happy with series' there.
As for what we're looking forward to... Um, well I'm looking forward to staying current with Supernatural and... um... the return of Doctor Who after Christmas? We just got 6 new episodes, that has to sustain us until the Christmas episode and into the new year.

I was bummed when they cancelled Threshold...had Brent Spiner from Star Trek: TNG.

Aeryn - I totally get that. I am, I think, less invested in the original though I have read them all. I haven't seen the bbc version either.
The BBC version is created by people who LOVE and respect and just might be in love with Sir Doyle. Plus, they are the awesome people behind Doctor Who and have made such a flawless adaptation of the stories into the 21st century they have ME reading the stories. I haven't even tried since I was 9, but I'm loving it! Because of them, not Lucy Lui and her random Watsonness. Pshh!

I watced some of AHS season one but my husband hated it and I never got caught back up. I might have to see if I can find old episodes somewhere. Especially if Adam Levine is going to be on. Swoon!
