Thumbs up Manic Monday - September 24th

Hey Everyone,
Time for Manic Monday! Autumn is definitely here and loving the cool weather. Although, can't take my son biking as we usually does because it gets too cold. Believe me he is not happy about that and guess what he is riding his bike in the living room

I'm in the middle of preparing stuff that I want to give as xmas gifts for my daughter's EI therapists. I have a big family so planning and shopping early is the way to go for me

How about you farm friends, since school just started how was it so far for your kiddos and you? Are you loving it that school started? What about your kids are they loving school or wish it's vacation again, lol!

For those of you a Halloween fan do you like to decorate your house and what costumes are popular this year? And for Xmas are you almost done xmas shopping or not even starting yet?

Come join us let's start chatting and share some tips this coming holidays

Oh Jas... I can't even think about Christmas yet - LOL. I do need to start to thinking about gifts and stuff, I like to be finished shopping as early as possible. Plus in the beginning of January I am giving a bridal shower for my niece so I need to get myself organized.

I do love Halloween, but just the cute, fun stuff. Not the bloody gore. I am trying to get my youngest to wear the cowboy costume his brother worn at his age but he really wants to be Darth Vader. I have no clue why it's not like we are big Star War people. I re-did my blog to a Halloween theme Needful Things and I think it's really fun.

Their are guys working on our brick patio today and they are sawing bricks. The dust and noise are making me a bit wacko! But the end result should be worth it .

It's Homecoming this week at our HS and my daughter is totally involved with all of it. It will be a hectic week. Go Royals!!

Christmas already? I have to say that I did ask the girls to talk to their teacher's about favorite colors and things so I can pick up yarn for hats or scarves...

Both girls seem to like their teachers, so this is a good year so far...

I have my fall and halloween things up...I put them up about a week ago...my youngest LOVES to help put the decorations up... I have this cute witch collection...I call them my three girls...I put them out and it makes me very happy to see them... a bunch of fall puffy pumpkins...a few spooky kind of things...lots of silk leaves here and there... we haven't done the spider web stuff yet...I have it, just haven't gotten it out and up yet.

Today was a great day...my birthday! I took the dog for a long walk, volunteered at the school, did grocery shopping...then vegged out coloring and watching The Tudors on tv... ) Nice way to spend the afternoon...then the girls got home and worked on their cards for the kids challenge...now we're watching the Seahawks on Monday night football...so it's kind of LOUD here right now...

Hope everyone had a great day!!

Wow Melissa, it's gonna be hectic and fun especially the bridal shower for your niece.

Lynda, Happy Birthday! I LOVE TUDORS! I'm a fan watched it on netflix so many times and I wish they will come up with something new. Sounds like you had an awesome day
