Oh my, I have a night out with the girls on Fri. Saturday I will spend with my Hubby until he has to work (probably doing yard work), and Sat night will hopefully go to a friend's house to make cards and Sunday there is a Pampered Chef Party! So what's going on here over the weekend.....lots of "kid" stuff.
We have to watch the game and see if the Brewers advance in the playoffs. Alicia and Ty are having friends over...hanging out (Ali) and working on their DI tryout skit (Ty). Dinner for 10 kids....I think we'll be ordering pizza.....quick and easy. Anticipating that some of the kids will end up spending the night (if the kids have friends over on a Friday, we usually end up with at least 2 kids spending the night). Running with the kids....a birthday party.....Ashley and Trevor need to work on their DI tryout presentations and props/costumes. Hope to finish up the Halloween decorating (aside from pumpkins). Ty may end up having his friends over a again for another DI tryout practice....all depends on how tomorrow's practice goes....and I think that's it...at least for now
So excited about the free shipping - I am so happy to be able to join my church family for our annual "stress reduction" retreat this weekend in the redwoods off the California Coast near Pescadero. Great company, lots of relaxation and the beauty of nature all around us. Planning to bring some knitting with me to work on a baby blanket for a wee one in our church due next month, catch up on sleep and take some nice walks if it doesn't rain the whole time.

My weekend plans are pretty boring I think! I'll be spending tonight (it's almost 5pm Fri over here) and tomorrow cutting out and sewing things for our local vintage fair on Sunday. Which is where I'll be spending my Sunday, obviously.

Sounds like a lot of people are doing shopping and cardmaking this weekend which are 2 of MY favorite things for sure!!! It's supposed to be raining and cold here. There is a pumpkin festival we usually go to every year but seriously, if it's rainy I don't want to go - we did that last year and it just wasn't as much fun. I would LOVE to just spend the days coloring and making cards. That's always my ideal kind of weekend!

This weekend we are going to the Food and Wine Fest at Epcot to see Rodger Hodgson play from SuperTramp. Sunday will try and work on my new HeArt Journal Entry for next week. Excited about the watercolors challenge.
