You girls are making me want to meet all of you. I will look for the info for your next get together. I would love to try to make it! Can I get the details on the kinds of things you do at them?

OK, Hmmmmmm ... Elaine ... my CRS is kicking in ... at least give me some initials. (goodness, I hope this isn't someone who, like, lived next door or anything!)

Good morning girls,
I just wanted to share this with you all, because I knew you'd understand. For Christmas I altered a pop-top soup can as a container for a gift card for my Dad. He (and other family members) thought it was pretty ingenious how I got the g-card in there keeping the pop-top intact. Well, last night I was visiting my parents and here he's using my little decorated can as a pencil/tool cup in his woodcarving area. It made me feel like, "Aaww, he kept my project." I was very touched.

Jeanie she only had good things to say about you and she is hoping you will stop and see her when you come up for the Friendship Swap in April. I am trying to talk her into participating but she is afraid as she hasn't been to any of the card making classes yet, just scrap booking. But it looks like she might attend my card making class on Tuesday. Ok.....here are her intitals S.P.

I had the same thing happen Val when I did some gift cards in a can the year before. I was at my sister's house and saw the can with pens and pencils in her kitchen! Sweet...it was a good feeling!

Ginny, welcome to the CURD herd! LOL! We're a pretty loosely knit bunch at the moment, having just met each other really, looking forward to meeting other CURDS as they find their way to the fine WI pastureland (LOL!) so jump on in when you can ... we'll see where this takes us.

Default Workin' in my stamping room

Tonight I'm going to make a notebook - those were so cute when Mel showed them to us and I never even thought about what I could all do with that idea! Of course, I bought 6 notebooks to play with instead of just 1!

Don't feel bad Emily. In the two times the Curd Herd has made the pilgrimage to Gina's, she hasn't been able to be there, so I have yet to meet her either. But one of these days, the stars will align, and I will get to meet her. Funny thing is, I probably will be in awe, and not be able to speak. I just think she's such a classy lady. I've never met her but I have such a lot of respect for her from reading her blog, and her forum. OK, off my Gina soapbox.

Default PUSH, push.....PUSH

Here we go..A GREAT big push for nookers! If that doesn't work you can clean my craft stuff while I come over and play in your craft room .
Thought that might help. You know my hubby would love to have you help organize my stuff.

Hi Ginny, So are you back from a vacation, or is that yet-to-be? Any place you want to tell us about?!

(and I think nookers was the one who said she needed to be lassoed and herded, so I wouldn't get too worried about being pushy -- I think y'all were just being cooperative! LOL!)

Did someone say Madison? My hometown and how I miss it.

I hope you also stop by Babcock Hall for some ice cream.

Ahhh, gotta love Babcock Hall for ice cream. Nothing quite like it! (Of course, tomorrow we could see windchills of -15, so maybe not stopping in tomorrow ... )

Default Appleton Anyone?

Calling all CURDs and WI gals.

I have been in contact with a possible venue for a get-together here in Appleton. I also have a good possibility for a teacher lined up to have a class. It is at the Atlas Coffee Mill . It is a lovely restaurant located right on the Fox River. They have private space for a class and we could order lunch following class. There is another smaller stamp store called Scrapbook and Stampin' Memories that people could visit on their own as well as Archivers.

I would guess we might draw some folks from Green Bay or elsewhere in NE Wisconsin if not all the CURDs can make the trip. 1st preference would be given to CURDS though.

Don't want to take the spotlight away from the Friendship Swap but wanted to know if enough people might think this would work and when people think a good time would be. Summer? Fall?

Just trying to keep a good thing going.
