Oh.. and without backreading I can't remember who said she can't make the shower. Forward the pictures to one of us and we'll post them when she opens the package. We did that with Christine's for Toni
That was me that can't make it. Great idea to forward photos to one of you! Will do soon!
Thanks for catching that, Kelly, and letting her know. I've been swamped with stuff of late and was fighting the sinus stuff so been in a fog it seems!
I got a package from Superjen and a box from Melina. I also got an envelope from babygoofus that I started to open before I noticed the note on the front....sorry!! I didn't look inside, so I'll just carefully put it with the other things and look at it on the 17th.
Just over a week now!!! The timing is perfect because the 17th is also my last day of work, so I get to celebrate the start of my maternity leave with the shower.

Hope my package arrives in time for the shower. By calculation, if it takes 14 days from my neck of the woods to yours, it will be there on the 17th!! (I do hope it arrives before then though!)

Woooo! Whoooo! I'm so glad it arrived in time! Yay! .....doin' a happy dance!!!
Good morning everyone! I hope my package makes it there soon too! It would have helped if I had let the PO keep it when I took it in on last Friday, but it was going to cost $35 to ship and only weighed 2 pounds. So I brought it home and boxed it up differently. Sorry - sounds like I'm being cheap right? But really I thought that was crazy expensive and this particular po employee was not so helpful...
Hope you all have a GREAT weekend! Susan, your little guy is soo cute!

I don't think that sounds cheap, it sounds practical. I pretty much always purchase gifts that will be inexpensive to ship. I'd rather spend my money on a better gift than postage!
You guys have been so great, that I wanted to make sure I shared a picture of the baby's room when it was done.
Today we did some major work and it's almost there!! Just a few clean-ups and final touches. My back is paying the price, right now, but I'll be okay. DH did some of the heavy stuff this morning (baseboards, blinds) while I did some baking. Then, the two of us got the wall hanging up, bed made, drawers stuffed...it's been busy. Luckily, we have plans to go out to a friends tonight, so I can relax and tomorrow the schedule is pure relaxation!!
Here is the crib (with my safari bedding!). The wall hanging was something my aunt has loaned to me. She made it for her first grandchild almost 15 years ago. Our babe will be the 5th baby to have it in his/her room. I LOVE it!!!
Heather, that's wonderful. That is the sweetest thing to have things passed down in families. My husband's family has a baby bonnet that all the grandkids and great-grandkids have had their pictures made in. His grandmother has all the pictures hanging in her home.

Cute, cute wallhanging! Just a hint (I could never keep secrets very well!) What I sent to you for Baby will match your wallhanging colors! If my PO told me correctly, the gift should arrive this week...fingers crossed that it arrives in time for shower.
Unfortunately, my package will not arrive in time for the shower. I've been battling migraines on and off for the better part of a week and a half. Really slowed my projects down. I did get it finished yesterday and packaged ready for mailing. Sounds like we're to have ice tomorrow which means it won't go to the PO until Tuesday.
I do have pictures to share on Friday night, though. I hope you like it!
My gift went postal this morning so will probably be late..ugh. Sorry!! Life...okay AND Baleigh are getting in the way - lol! Do have a pic to post on Friday...
Hi ladies. I'm feeling all your 'new baby' vibes and remembering those 'new baby' days. Ahhh... the (terrible) twos are hitting here! DD has an arm span of about 22 feet and can reach the ceiling somehow, lol. I'm tired.

Wow! Has it really been almost 2 yrs since your baby shower?? Time really does fly and they really DO grow up fast! Baleigh and I can come sit for you and let you take a break...
Well, now I am concerned. By now my little package should have arrived!
Its just been one of those months at work and otherwise, and I feel like I'm in a constant running mode just trying to keep up on things. And exhausted and grumpy even for it. Poor DH is getting the brunt of it too by the time I get home in the evening.

Susan, I don't know if this will help or not, but I had another swap with a package to Canada that didn't arrive in a "timely" manner...14 days; so my PO told me I could contact Canadian customs with the customs label # and they might be able to locate the package...of course, my PO told me I would have to search the USPS website for International mailing regulations to find a customs number to contact; luckily, the package did arrive in about 16 days, but it's always a worry when mailing to Canada for some reason! I hope my package arrives this week, but I'm not counting on it.
Yes they do! She won't be 2 until June, but the 'twos' has started. She has found out that she can be in control of her body and she thinks she is completely independent. What a combination! Don't tempt me to move next door to you!

Susan, thinking of you! I know how those weeks go. We had a couple like that recently. I know you're super busy because I feel like we haven't crossed paths much in the last few days. Which Jen did you think had a baby?

Superjen? I thought I saw a post on another thread, but lately I have been swamped in revision of materials at work so I may be wrong! I'm starting to have dreams/nightmares about the project so who knows... I'm definitely not sleeping well.
Susan, you posted on the PAT 22 swap thread about locating a discontinued punch. I just merely said, I wasn't going to be much help there. Hopefully someone will have some mojo to share with you in that regard.
Oh, I thought I read on one of them about someone just having a baby girl a week or two ago suddenly (early) and thought it was your post. Oh my, I am tired and need a long vacation!!!! haha
Well, I did have a baby girl and she did come early, but that was 6 years ago But you aren't going crazy. One of the players in PAT 22 just had a baby girl at 37 weeks just over a week ago.
Another package today!! And it's heavy too!! From Vickie.
Now, I can usually avoid parcels, but the stack in my craft room is getting mighty big and hard to ignore!! Glad there's only two more days until our fun.
