Has anyone heard anything on Jami, Joy and Emily are putting on the SCS SoCal StampMania for 2009? Last year it was in April and we had gotten notice of it by now on SAS.. so I was just curious as I want to go again this year as it was fantastic last year.
Maybe they are not having it this year.. which would be a total bummer.. as it was great last year. Keep me posted if you guys hear anything. I even emilaed Joy and Jami but neither have gotten back to me so maybe I don't have their correct emails.
Funny, because I've been searching for over a week as well. I'm sure they are having it, just maybe need a bit more time to get all the details out to us. I'm all excited about it!
I think its odd that no one has replied to emails asking if they are holding the event again. Either you are or you aren't, but what's with the silence?
I have not heard anything (when I emailed them a few weeks ago, but not sure I had the correct emails) and have not seen a thing on this. They must not be having the event in April like last year, maybe it will be later this year. It would be a shame not to have it as they have been so sucessful.
Too bad... too sad.... this was a fun event! Maybe they need some time off from it since I'm sure it consumed a great deal of their time putting it together.
Such a bummer! I wish someone would just come out and say straight up that there isn't going to be one this year. I wonder why no one will just do that.I don't need an explanation, but we all loved it in the past so I'd love to know if i should be looking our for a later even or not. If for some reason the organizers had a falling out or something it doesn't need to be aired online, but maybe someone else coupld step in and help. Where else can we have so much fun, for so little cost and escape our families for a day!
Whoa! There's been no *falling out*! Joy and Emily and I love each other just as much as ever! That's how rumors start!
Sorry I had not seen this thread before today - I appreciate it being pointed out to me. I do apologize that we had not previously answered e-mails and PMs regarding SCSM for this year. Joy will be sending out an e-mail to everyone on our contact list within the next day or so. I had not answered e-mails because to be honest I just wasn't sure if we were going to be able to put something together this year or not - there is sooooooo much involved in one of these events. As it stands now, there will not be a StampMania event this Spring, but we are looking into the possibility of putting one together later in the year. Everyone on our contact list will get an e-mail as soon as we have a date set. If you have attended a past event you are on the contact list - no worries. If you are not on the list and would like to be simply send a PM to JoyOfStamping with your first and last name and e-mail address and she'll get you added.
Again I do apologize for not responding to previous questions. Life has just been incredibly busy for all 3 of us which I hope you can understand. We love you guys and appreciate your enthusiasm!!!
Whoo Hoo!! And I wasn't implying that you did have a falling out. It just seemed odd that no one had given us any info on what was up when some people had emailed you directly. Take it as a complement that we are all very eager to come to the next shindig you ladies put on. I can't wait!
