I really struggled with wanting to come to this one but I am on overload with commitments and Wedding stuff. I also need to start getting donations for Buffalo and I haven't even started getting our taxes ready...yikes! I'm going to miss seeing you all but I hope to see you soon!
Utica girls, looking for some assitance. Our veterinarian enjoys "Brooklyn Dark Chocolate"...some kind of liquor or beer? He says that you can get it in your area?...maybe even made there? I was wondering if I could pick some up when we're up there. Any ideas where to get, close to our gathering? Although....how much will I have to buy to make sure that some of it actually makes it home...giggle, giggle.

I believe this is Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout beer..made by Brooklyn Brewing Company. Sold by the six packs. Probably available at Marcy Discount Beverage...( a local beverage center) ....several of us are from this area if you want some picked up. No idea as to price but we could investigate if you want. I think it is a seasonal beer so would have to check and see if it is currently available....

haven't started any of my projects yet. but then again it's only the 1st.
I haven't started mine yet either. I'm working 3 jobs until Feb. 11th so other than planning out what I want to do, I just haven't had a chance to get down to business and start making my projects.
I guess I AM a head of the game but I'm going away the weekend before the event and am worried I'll get a lazy streak. I'm feel very motivated right now.
WOW Bo, I don't know how you do 3 jobs, I have trouble with 1!! You'll deserve a nice break by the 25th.

I have my shoebox done and packed. And one other swap...... funny I can't remember which one... recipe I think. Numbers won't be firm for a bit now anyway. I'm never done with swaps before numbers are confirmed. BUT, we definitely know the shoebox number.
If you haven't already sent in your $$ and registration, NOW would be the time. I'd LOVE to find the rest in my pile of mail when I return this weekend!!!

I have trouble with all three jobs (LOL) but I just keep on going. I'm killing myself now but I'll after next week I'll be down to two jobs with my weekends free. Then after a while I'll cut down on my hours for my second job and then before I know it, it will be summer and I can take a super long vacation.
So yes I'm so excited to have the 25th to look forward to --- I'll need the break. All work and no play ---> it makes me cranky! I do so love my "ME" things I do for fun.

.I stopped at Marcy Beverage today and they do have Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout. It is sold in a 4 pack for $7.49 plus tax a four pack. They have a limited amount since it is seasonal and the end of the season. If you want any we would probably need to get it fairly soon before it is gone. Let us know what you decide and I am sure someone local could swing by and pick some up for you if you want...

Arlene I picked up my order from Tilly so I'm gonna give the rolodex a try, not promising they are going to be good.

Nancy and all. Had a big mess happen and now not able to make it to this shoe box swap. Lets just say that all that work I just did on the new house has to be redone. I had to fly to NC to take care of it. It will be months of work.

allen just made a big pot of chili. it's simmering. he went jogging.
