1 C Shortening
1 C Gran. sugar
1 C Brown sugar
1 t. Vanilla
1 C Peanut butter (I used crunchy)
2 C Sifted flour (I don't sift my flour)
2 t. Baking soda
1 t. Salt
Cream shortening, sugars and vanilla. Add eggs; beat thoroughly. Stir in peanut butter. Sift dry ingredients together and stir into creamed mixture. Stir in mini chocolate chips as an option. With a teaspoon of dough form into walnut size balls. (I use the smallest Pampered Chef cookie dropper thingy.) Place on ungreased cookie sheets. Press with back of a floured fork to create a criss-cross.
Bake in a 350 degree oven about 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned. Makes 5 dozen.
Enjoy! Hey, I had a great time today and it was wonderful to meet all of you. I look forward to the next gathering!
Had a stress free day yesterday! Great freinds and stamping.
Wendy and I were home by 4. Seemed wierd, but I'll take it.
Nancy great event. I know you had some much needed relaxing time. And that you needed it
Hope both parents are improving
Mom needs a few more days in the hospital. Hoping she moves to a nursing home on Wednesday. She hasn't walked without help yet and really needs alot of supervision.
We should close on the property this week. They let us clear the trees over the weekend. I'm getting the building permit this week and we'll start as soon as the builder is available... hoping within a week or so. I'm VERY excited!
BIG PLANS. Three stall garage with a 40 x 24 apartment for dad/mom on the first floor. Second floor is storage, fitness room, and 40 x 24 CRAFT ROOM. This is being built on the vacant lot behind my house. It has access from the street behind me and we'll put in a walkway from our backdoor.
Dad is fine as long as he eats, drinks, and takes his meds. He is moving slower these days.
