Aw, shucks, thanks Ina and Gayla. I had to work it but it was still great. Looking forward to next weekend. REALLY have to get cracking on projects though. Good think I am off next week.

Questions? When doing swaps and the count say is 16, do we do 16 of the same card or how do you do this???.. I've been in a swap by mail and we made the same design card and rec'd that amount back.. Am I correct assuming that is the way yours is done?
Also, on the ATC swap, is that put on a playing card ?
On the unwanted/unloved... I have brand new SU sets, can I just put 1 in a box or do I put more items in the box?
The gift exchange: Is this a made item from CS, or any crafty gift. Do I do just 1 for exchange or several. Do directions have to be included with gift ? Iv'e made a card holder with design cards in it.. Not sure if that's what you mean though.
Sorry that I'm asking these questions so late but been in Fla so I'm just wanting to make sure I've done this correctly.

I will try to answer some of these for you. I am sure Lauri will correct me if I get it wrong.
1. Swaps - you make whatever number of the swap, all the same, so in your example you would make 16 identical card fronts and receive 16 back. You should make an extra for yourself, if you want one.
3. I don't know this one for sure, but in the instructions it says to load up a box of goodies you don't want and we'll swap them. I guess my suggestion would be to think how you would like the box as you pack it. Pat could definitely answer your questions better than me on this one.
4. Gift exchange - You bring one gift, wrapped. It doesn't have to be card stock, it can be any hand crafted gift. I think Lauri usually has a game planned to aid in the exchange, or we do yankee trader style. Your card holder idea sounds nice for this. I don't think directions are mandatory but if you wanted to include them I am sure your recipient would be happy for them. Be sure to include a note with your name or sign your gift so the person receiving it knows whom to thank.
I hope that helps; if I have forgotten something, or got something wrong can someone please correct me?
Lauri, I hope I didn't step on toes by answering, I know how busy you must be and hopefully I helped out a bit.
nancy two things
1. we're 4 for riding rochester,right?
2. you pick me up @ exit 34,canasota. not a ? on this. usually you want me to come to you.
Yes and Yes.

Oh Lord! One week to go before the get together and I'm just now able to get to my 30 NVR card fronts that I need to make... I told the hubby that I am busting out cards when I get home from work today... We will see if him and the kids leave me alone long enough.
Just realized that I'm driving to Rochester all by myself that day... Hopefully Mr. GPS will be kind to me and not take me all over no mans land...

you can put what ever you dont want any more or dont use, old or new, you do however, have to fill one of the free medium boxed that are from the post office, there are 2 sizes, any of them works.
Please refer to post 29 for more details.
See you next Saturday

20+ of us made about 1,000 cards for the troops today! Exhausting! So...now that is over, my supplies have exploded all over the living room floor (why does it look like three times as much as I took out of the house with me this morning???), I've taken Aleeve, and recovered on the couch for 4 hours with the TV and Pinterest I can turn my brain over to all my swaps for next Saturday. Tomorrow will be massive amounts of laundry combined with massive swap card making. Have a great Sunday, everyone!

Hi Pat,
Sorry for another question about this...The boxes are really free from the Post Office? I went in the other day and saw the display of boxes, but they have prices on them. Just checking if I'm looking at the right box? Thanks for your help!

Pat's computer is down with a virus so I'll answer that question. Wrong boxes. You want the Priority Mail Flat Rate Boxes that are free. There should be another display with all the sizes for Priority Mail Flate Rate boxes that are folded flat. Usually the boxes have printing on them that say Priority Mail in the top left corner and Medium Flat Rate in the bottom left corner in blue ink. There are two styles of boxes (open on the end or open on the top) and the one that opens on the top is easier to put your unloved goodies inside.
So far I'm about 1/3 of the way through my NVR.

I can help out with the medium flat rate box with the price... the price on the box is to send it not to buy it. Ask your post office person if it is the right one but they are free. I get them from shipments coming in and reuse them if they are clean and in good shape. The price is just so you kn0ow how much it is to send,,, that is why the name flat rate (under a weight requirement). My box is full.
NVR are done, whewwww, it's a stand out fold with many pieces and 2 that were hand cut out - I was nuts to do it for 31 cards but I am finished with NRV, now to go to bed ! good night everyone.
Hey ladies... I just got back from ATC club. I needed ATCs to swap and a project. Now I can concentrate on Saturday.
I do have my ATCs, shoebox, and recipes done. I'm working on the NVRs on my lunchhour at work. Still LOTS to do.
It is nice to finally have my house back though. And DH did the dishes for me tonight!! I SO love him!
