I didn't count all the vendors but I feel certain there are at least 20-25 vendors.

I enjoyed the Denami Designs booth. I really fell in love with the 'chick' stamps. I bought somre glitter. A die by Heartfelt Creations. I bought some Stamps from Our Daily Bread Desins, some really cute snowmen stamps and sentiments from Endless Creations, really cheap ATG refills. This is my first stamp expo and being a relatively new stamper I bought alot. Going back tomorrow to finish the half I didn't see.

Yes, Glue to make stamps stick to clear blocks. Supposed to work better than Aleene's TIO.

I went die crazy ... too numerous to list. But you can visit to check it out!!

I hope to make up my embossing folder ring tomorrow?? (if the weather is crappy that is, if it's nice, I'll be outdoors). I need organization there... I have NONE. Maybe as easy as numbering them with a Sharpie?? 'Cause I no longer know the names to many of them ... UGH!

Get it at Another Stamp Company...Sailor 2-in-1 Glue Marker (NOT the thinner pen) $3.50. The lady at the booth will show you how she stores her stamps on the outside of a page protector with a cardboard and an index stamped on paper inside the pocket. I'm going to try it over the SU! cling labels as well as bare rubber stamps. Think I'll go do that right now to my new bare rubber stamps.

Wow, was that a lot easier to apply than Aleene's!!! Tomorrow I'll see how the stamps stick to the block.

Becky was demonstrating for Gary Burlin. I did buy a pack of the dragonfly stickers she demoed. She was covered head to toe in glitter!

I wanna make this fast and easy... I've seen others that have markered on them.
I don't even know how to use my labeler ... LOL. Guess I'll have to read the directions?

I'm going to roll all my comments into one big ball of reply:

I wouldn't worry about Sharpie markings rubbing off onto plates, but it will definitely rub off over time. I have started clipping the name of the folder from the packaging and attaching that to the folder with Scotch tape. That doesn't fix the old ones, though.

The 2-way glue that SU! sells (EK?) works really, really well for adhering stamps to blocks. When my new stamps arrive, I put the labels on and apply the glue right away. They're ready to go when I am.

Sue is right, I left purchasing *nothing*, but I had a good time. She and Janet made up for me.

Arlene, great haul! I know Nancy, Pat and Meg got lots because we first saw Nancy after she was returning from dropping off a part of their haul at the car.

Spent a bit of time catching up with Diane and Becky (and Chris) and got to meet and talk with Korin for a while, too.

I'd go back again but I don't think I'll have time today.

Gayla - You have to see the demo at Stampland. Darlene is fabulous! Rosalie & i bought a bunch of unmounted rubber stamps there. So many techniques! At The Stamp Doctor I bought sticky powder , glitter & sticky paper for a song. The sticky paper is only labels from the office supply store. Who knew? Gorgeous stamps form the Artful Stamper, and I got a great stamp to do a twisted card for SCS. Yay - my first one! Also, got a Rubbernecker stamp that Stacie was demoing. Stop and see her when you go.

Gayla, if you're going today, don't be surprised to see Chris N. She got a call to fill in for a vendor who had to cancel at the last minute.

The wide marker applicator on the Sailor glue makes it sooo much easier to apply without messy fingers than SU!, Tombow, or Aleene's glues! Sooo well worth the money to me which is about the same price as the other glues. Sailor glue is one of my top purchases along with the Stamp Doctor Flip Flop Die and Center Step Die! Just tried the Flip Flop Die and it is so cool and EASY! FYI: the Flip Flop Die has a plastic alignment piece with it so look for that in the packaging!

Yes it does. I bought art masking tape in three widths at Gary Burlin, too, and just used that to make a mask. Love it!

Hi Ladies,

I just wanted to let you know that I "FINALLY" got all of my photo's from the May event in Syracuse uploaded into an album on my Facebook. If you would like to take a look at them, here is the direct link. (Sorry, I don't know how to upload that many to SCS.)

Also, if you have a Facebook account, feel free to tag yourself in the photo's. Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend.

Crafty Huggles,
Christi

You know, I thought of that masking tape this morning. Oh well, not worth the drive back up there.
