A good kind of dream to have, Robin! It seems like I think stamping 24/7 so it's no surprise to me that we dream about stamping, too! I hope it was a fun dream!

I stopped to drop something off for Linda this morning at Pat's so I got to have my British accent "fix" that has been missing all winter!!

URGENT UPDATE!!!

Holy Moly! I found a big mistake on the shoebox project counts!!! On page 1, post 1, I said:

"Bring 4 completed projects + make up 17 packets of materials needed to make your project. Extra parts to fix any "oops" should also be provided. Make these something you’d be thrilled to get yourself. Your project for the morning and afternoon should all be the same.

There will be four tables of nine/table."

You will actually want to have 18 complete packets for your shoeboxes: One grouping will be 9 (or 10) including you. In the afternoon, you will switch to the "opposite" grouping and be at a table with 10 (or 9) projects. 10 + 9 = 19, but you don't need one for yourself so 18 packets should do it.

I hope this doesn't put anyone out too much and that with your extras for "oops" you already have this number well covered.

I can't believe no one caught me on this!! Or am I wrong now? I must have been thinking that there were 36 attending vs. the 38 actual. I do know that 9 x 4 = 36, not 38.

So sorry!!!

I am going to change page 1 to reflect this change.

So far so good of a day. I came on make sure I do have the right number of swaps. Even though when I write them down I usually just round it (unless it is a lot). Talking about dreaming that was all I did was dream of my shoe box swap. So I decided to make it, doesn't look like the one in my dream (it was white) but it was made exactly how my dream said too.

Don't forget to make sure you have the right number of shoeboxes.

(Also, don't forget to pack that punch for me. I have the inks.)

Thanks to all of you for your condolences. I finished everything except baking last night. So nice not to be in a last minute get things done crunch. See you all soon! Lizz, Joanne V., Becky and I are heading your way Friday after work. There may be some Utica greens in our very near future!

I can't believe I am done!! First time ever. Maybe because my NVR and DQ were CASED (with different stamps though) by Connie Stewart's "Flash Card Series" or the fact that my husbands boss wants us to come over Friday night. Thank goodness I had already planned on having today off since usually I am up until 1 or 2 on Friday night. Now I just need to pack it all up and I am thinking about doing the gift swap since I have some time. Another first!!

I had actually messed up my numbers and thought I had to have 25 + 4 for some silly reason. So do NOT feel bad about mixing up your numbers. LOL

Yup, they're actually from Utica. I know they have a place there as well; believe it's Charlie's Pizza.

The plan on Saturday for dinner is to go to the Bull & Bear Pub, which is right around the corner from my house (also close to the gathering spot).

Who's in? I'd like to give them an idea of how many to expect. We'll probably go about 6:30.

SCHEDULE REMINDER: Here's what the day looks like in general. Please understand that adjustments will be made as the day goes on.

9:50-10:30 Check in, get your table assignment, leave any door prize donations with me. Drop off food.

Shoeboxes: Pin one of your completed shoebox projects to the board (make sure you pin it to the board designated for your table -- #’s 1 & 3 or #’s 2 & 4), leave two other completed shoebox projects in the two containers near board, the last completed one goes with you to your table.

Swaps: Put one each of your swaps out and check your name off the list(s) as you do that.

Gift Swap: Place your wrapped gift swap on back table (participation optional) and be sure to get a playing card for that.

Chat with friends. Head back to your table.

10:30 Intros with your table head; she'll also let you know what to expect in terms of making the projects. Expect to describe your project, especially anything that's not obvious. Remember that some basic written directions should also be there for those who will make your project later.

10:45-12:15 Morning shoebox projects.

If you're hungry at all (morning or afternoon), please feel free to take a break and graze any time.

Please neaten up your spot before you get started with lunch. We don't want any spills on the projects and we also need room to eat lunch. Thanks.

Projects stay behind and people will switch tables after lunch. Please don't try switching before it's time although you certainly may move to have lunch with your friends.

12:15-1:30 Lunch, garage sale and swapping. I will be calling the swaps randomly so please don’t stray too far.

1:30-3:15 Afternoon shoebox projects

3:15-5:00 Door prizes and gift swap. Gift swap will be last so that those not participating can depart early if desired.

5:00 Clean up. So helpful!

6:30 Bull & Bear Roadhouse (East Syracuse) for dinner. You are welcome to stop at my house for the break between. We typically just sit and chat and everyone takes a breather. Hope you'll join us.

It would help me to know how many plan to stay for dinner so please LMK by email, PM or responding here on the thread. Thanks.

Goodie bags will be delivered to you personally at the table where you're stamping in the morning. Your ticket for the afternoon’s door prizes is in the envelope attached to your goodie bag, so don’t lose that envelope! You will also have a chance to purchase 50/50 tickets. Proceeds go towards buying door prizes for next time and of course the winner takes home the other half.

You can see there's a lot going on at check in time so it really helps if you can arrive closer to 10 rather than earlier. Thanks for understanding.

Questions???

Oh, we definitely have them here, Pat. For those of you who have gone to Williams Restaurant, it is at the corner of Taft Road and Route 298. That part of 298 heading towards Bridgeport is called Rattlesnake Gulch and there's a reason for that.

WHEW! DH says the snakes...yes, more than one!...were milk snakes because the head and eye shape was not rattlesnake shaped. He took two and released them over in a conservation area. Hope the other snakes in the walls leave and go on the other side of Rt. 49!
