Does anybody remember a 3-D card that was made with a reindeer and a song book, I thought it was Heidi but guess not. I made one at one of the past gatherings and thought it was in Amherest. I'm looking for A picture of the card. Can anybody help in remembering it?
Hi Ladies, I've been super sick the past couple weeks and on mega antibiotics. The doctor even thought I might have pneumonia, but the radiologist disagreed when he reviewed the chest x-rays. Phew! Anywho, I'm on the mends in time for our gathering. Not sure I'll be able to complete all the plans I had in my head. But we'll pull it together and have a good time, right? This doesn't bode as well for the upcoming triathlon I signed up for though.
I was wondering why you've been a bit "off line". I hope you feel better so that you can enjoy the day.
Don't stress about "stuff". All we need is a place, tables, chairs, lighting, and food that we are bringing. All else is a bonus.
I'm afraid I'm going to have to bow out of this event. I haven't stamped in nearly a year and I was hoping this swap would get me back on track, but alas my mojo has left the building. The creative juices just aren't flowing and I'm getting too frustrated trying to come up with something.
Hey ladies... There's a chance I'm backing out. My dad (in FL) had a stroke yesterday. They are still assessing his immediate needs. My brother is on his way, but I'm (really) the only one that can handle this. I just don't know what is going to happen. He's in the hospital and being treated, not just for the stroke, but for 3 falls he had yesterday. The other big issue is that my mom has dementia and really doesn't understand what is going on. She is staying with her sister tonight and with my brother when he arrives tomorrow. She can be a handful. She thinks she can stay alone and drive and do whatever she wants ... but she CAN'T!!
I'll know more tomorrow. But, I just wanted to tell you know so it's not a total surprise later in the week. Either way, I'd send swaps and my shoebox.... I'm almost done anyway.
Location: CNY but I'd rather be in Bonaire snorkeling!
WOW, Nancy! GO to Florida NOW before it's too late. It's time to get your mother in a skilled nursing facility where she'll be safe because your father won't be able to take of her and he may need that type of nursing help, too. We'll manage! Let me know where to pick up your stuff. Gayla, let me know where Linda and I need to meet you and at what time Saturday morning.
Arlene, The Snorkeler ü
Come stamp with us: Poughkeepsie March 15, Williamsville March 22, Syracuse May 17.

CNY Ladies, I heard possible rain/sleet Friday night/Sat north of here. I hope they decide to change that forecast. You may want to take the weather into consideration for your timing, and if the roads are slick, I definitely recommend staying on the Thruway to New Paltz. They are best at keeping roads clean.
