Good morning! I'm actually up! Hungry, headachy, and tired but up...for a few hours anyway. Already thinking about what I need to make in April...ATC Club project and swap, monthly Roodex swap, NJ shoebox, ATCs, and CFs, and Buffalo shoebox, ATCs, and CFs. I've been rooting around in Craftyland pulling out stamps, embossing folders, and papers for some of these projects.
Time for breakfast....
Enjoy a "Foolish" day!

Glad to hear you guys made it home alright. We are recovering over here with coffee and blueberry pancakes. No racing today... just gonna ride if (when) the sun comes out.

Just heard that my graduate school gal pal Carol had her kidney transplant a few days ago, all was going well, but then her heart failed. She was revived but is unconscious and her family is waiting to hear about brain activity. Her husband called another one of our grad school friends about an hour ago to let her know and asked for prayers.
Just want to let all my stamping pals know that I love you and do so enjoy stamping with you!!!

They were yummy!
I got home just in time to unload the car and leave for dinner ay BIL/SIL house. He's having minor surgery tomorrow so we didn't want to skip it.
I'll try to make a .pdf of the instructions for folding the medallion asap but it may not happen until Wednesday. When I get it done, I'll post here asking those interested to PM their email address and then I'll send via email.
Haven't had a chance to unpack but loved everything and had an awesome time!
Hi ladies,
Heidi nice to see you two days in a row. LOL. This was really a nice event and the facility was wonderful. Hope this becomes an annual event. Arlene keeping your friend in my prayers, Nancy you were missed and praying everything goes well for your family! Your card was really cool and clever as were all the cards ............this is such a taletnted bunch! I'm so looking forward to getting together again in April which starts today! See everyone in 20 days. Have a great week!
Hi Ladies,
There was a lot of requests for "post this" or "email that". If I owe you something, give me a ping in a couple days, and I'll catch up. It's all a blur right now.
Still here in FL. Appts. with mom's doctor today to be sure we have all of her meds right. Dad handled all of that. Dad will stay in the rehab center until he can walk well enough to get around. He will need ongoing rehab for his left leg and arm. I leave tomorrow. My bro is staying with mom until dad gets sprung. He's not working right now, so it works.
Still working out anything beyond that. Don't know the plans until we see how well he does with the rehab.
Nancy- your family is in my thoughts! have a safe return home.
Can anyone share the projects that I missed? I'm so upset to have missed this event.
all the talk about this project and medallions etc. has me curious!
ladies if you asked for something from me/allen. please post here. and i'll try to have him get it made. he's quite busy ripping out my hallway & upstairs spare bath.
tina i know you ask for that simple card holder from buffalo.
heidi you wanted??????????? for the life of me. i can't remember
I totally agree, wish there was a way to post, even if it was by groups of cards all the wonderful designs that were done as shoeboxes and swaps. The gatherings are a great way to find new friends and get inspired by new ideas. Gayla, did you get the bunny and chick cards I sent?

There's a CNY gallery, isn't there? I haven't gone through and taken pics yet.

Thank you for remembering and thank Allen too. Whenever it's ready please check my mailing info ... the seller's have signed the contract but no closing date has been set yet! Since I need a card for a birthday party I plan to start packing craft stuff next week. As I get the cold-weather clothes washed and dried they'll be donated/packed.
We've had computer issues and I don't think DH has the software installed for uploading. Plus I didn't take any pictures of my card.
I am hoping to make another one (to send with the pdf instructions since they just show how to make the medallion) so there's more time to PM me your email address if you want to be on the list (I've rec'd requests from Melissa, Debra and Becky and will be including Heidi too). They may go out late tonight or tomorrow.

Sadly Carol passed away late yesterday afternoon. She had been so positive but from having diabetes for so long and being on dialysis for at least a year her body just didn't have enough left. Now she will be healthy and at peace in Heaven.

Nancy, there was a question on your card front - what stamp, embossing folder, and die-cuts? TIA!
Yay!! Someone liked it!!
The stamp is from SU Blissful Bride. The embossing folder is a cuttlebug folder called Grace's frame, and the layers are not diecuts. They are just rectangles with the corners cut with the We R Memory Keepers DECO corner cutter. It's the one with the pale lime green handle that also has a corner cutter that is just like the SU ticket corner punch.

Thank you, Michele. Her service was this morning (very nicely done) and I went with the other 3 of our original 6 grad school gal pals. One other passed away several years ago after several breast cancer battles which started when we were in grad school in the early 1990's. Now there are four of us. Kind of scary when we four now range in age from mid-40s to 73 and the 73 year old just had a pacemaker put in and said she needs surgery for a hole in her heart before she has knee replacement surgery. We feel badly for Carol's husband (they were very much in love), 2 children, grandson, mother, and siblings. She was 54, smart, wise, and upbeat.
