Thanks Arlene!! I may have to break down and purchase a good chunk like that.

I had to work today so no trip to Joann's. I'll try to follow this thread in case you still need some but I doubt I'll get near any craft store until next week (if then). Hope the more local ladies find what you need.
I ordered the balance from Joanns today. I'll take whatever has already been purchased for me, but don't need any more.
thanks ladies!

Thanks for the e-mail, Linda. But I'm going to have to pass on this one. My house has been sorely neglected in the preparations for Buffalo and I keep promising DD that once April is over I will concentrate more on wedding stuff! I am hoping that next year I can participate more in these.
Have a good time!
Wish I could join you all for this fun event, but we will be in PA that weekend. Sorry to miss it, as I had such fun at the previous gatherings!
Happy crafting...hope I can make the next one!

I had someone ask about the extra shoebox projects and thought I'd also put it out here: it's one shoebox project but you will be making *double* the usual number. You will be at one table in the morning and a different one in the afternoon. You will move but your project stays behind. Therefore, it will be *very* helpful to have some brief directions because you won't be there in the P.M. to answer questions.
Also, it's not an option; it's required. You will know the number you'll need shortly after the event closes but it usually does take me a day or two to sort things out so please be patient. I will say that you will *not* need a quantity greater than 20. If you make extras, you could always swap with others who don't get to be at a table with your project.
Does that make sense? Anyone else is welcome to chime in to explain further.
ready to come home to good old NY, too bloody hot here, 90 yesterday with what feels like as much humidity. I can't wait to see my lovely stamping friends.

Reason: corrected spelling
This swap is for a gate-fold card. Get your creative juices flowing. Don't limit yourself to patriotic themes. Try a non-traditional christmas or anniversary card, etc. This will be a +2 swap, 1 for doorprizes and 1 for donation to the troops.
please note these cards can't include any feathers or bulky embellishments. as these can't be sent overseas, thanks.
I'm thinking we won't repeat the personalized goodie bags.
Although I love the idea that I'm going to get a goodie or two that I already know what I can use it for, I don't blame you a bit for not wanting to offer this every swap. (But I certainly do appreciate what you are doing.)
