NC/SC New to the area - Looking for Stamp Group to get together
Hi... I just moved to Indian Land, SC (just outside of Charlotte) newly married and moved here from Oklahoma but originally from CA. I've been stamping since '97. I am looking to form a stamping group in the NC/SC area around Charlotte... We can stamp @ my place or find a stamp/scrapbook place to get together. I don't have any friends yet here and I really would like to to make some ;) Please let me know if you may be interested. Happy Stamping Jaime aka StampBug72
Hi Jaime - I live near Columbia, SC but don't know of any stamping groups; however, it is nice to meet you and hope that we can get together one day soon. I am sure there are a group out there somewhere and would like to find out myself. Maybe after the holidays, we can meet up and start a group of our own if not.
I have hosted a shoe box swap at my house out in the country near Henderson NC. I am planning on hosting another one sometime in the next six months. Let me know if you are interested.
I live in Boston right now, but someday we will live in NC permanently (Air Force).

Hi Janet... thanks so much for your reply... Nice to meet you too *Hugs* and would love to get together in the future... if we can figure a way to bridge the gap between us. I haven't been to Columbia yet... but my new hubby has family out there so being in the area in the future may not be out of the question in the future. Take Care and Happy Stamping ;)

HI, I'll be in NC, near Charlotte for the summer and would love to get together with any other stampers. I've heard of shoebox swaps too - we could ask someone what is involved in that - or we could all come with 1 card design and the materials to make that card for everyone and we would all leave with some new cards. I am firming up a date for a shoe box swap in Sept/Oct time frame at a lake house I am finishing up a remodel on near Bunn, NC. I have people come to swaps from NY and VA. Carpooling works too, find a friend to drive with. Also a golf course affiliated with the lake for husbands to go golf while we stamp. Feel free to PM, email or post here with questions.
