hi guys, sorry I missed this weekend's get together but I was stick all weekend - feeling a little better today but not enough to go to work. Hopefully tomorrow or I'll be behind!! Anyway, sure hoping for next month, I've missed the last two!
Joel's eye surgery went well on Friday. He looks a little devilish, because his eyes are bloodshot and will likely be for about a week. He has also been a bit crabby and clingy, but nothing horrible or unexpected. His eyes are now tracking together, which is a big difference, and you can tell by the way he was looking at things that he is seeing differently. The doctor said that there is a 1 in 5 chance that he may need to have another surgery to further correct his eyes, but that we won't know if that is necessary for 3 or 4 months. We are hoping that this did it, and that he isn't that 1 in 5.

I would love to join in stamping with you all! Would you mind? I have no upline anymore and have never had a downline and don't have anyone to do swaps with etc... Would you put me on your list so I know when you have events? I would even like to host one sometime if you need a place. My basement is set up for stuff like that.

Hi Emily and a Big Welcome!!! As you see here in our thread, we love to have people join our group! We have a wonderful time each time we get together! Lots of great talent here, and we have lots of fun with our themes! Next month Julie is hosting in Columbia, Il. It's not all that far for us especially if some of us car pool like JoAnn is mentioning.
Just follow the thread by subscribing to it, and it will be on your list of items to follow when you log onto SC each time.

I would like to welcome you to the group too! We try to meet once a month and lately, it has been at Barnes and Noble across from Crestwood Plaza. Most of us don't have the space and this rrom is nice and big. We aren't allowed to seel anything there but have the room from 1 till 5 with no charge.
We also can't take in food. They have a cafe where we buy our drinks, sandwiches or desserts.
I am interested in your garage sale this Saturday, if my grandsons' soccer games aren't too early. I finally got my daughter to the dark side! haha
I'm sure there is more questions. We will gladly answer them. October 23rd.

Julie, I just colored Popcorn bear and used Flower Soft of the daisies! He is just adorable!
I will try and find an image using Flower Soft for our meet. I think my bear would take too long. Is there Holiday color for poinsettas?

Ladie, I feel like I've completely lost touch, it's been forever since I've stamped with you all. Hopefully I can rejoin soon. In the meantime, does anyone have the Bella stamp "sistahoodabellas"? i used this a couple years ago for a friend who has three sisters and she has asked me again for this stamp. If someone has it you can send me a message. I'll be happy to meet you or come to your house to get some pages stamped. thanks!!

My weekends are full with the twins first birthday party and an event at work.
My only free one is the 30th and I figured that might be too late in the month.
I e-mail Beth or Greg at crm2722@bn.com. I say the dates and time (1-5) and wait for them to give me an ok. Give your name and that you are with Splitcoaststampers. They are pretty prompt about getting back.

I can make the 23rd-so far, my husband hasn't thrown any hunting weekends my way for this month.(though I like the B&N location for being more central) The 30th is Boy Scouts family camp, so I'm out for that day. I emailed B&N and am patiently waiting reply for availabilities. With the holidays approaching-where do we stand on our gettogethers, are we trying to stick with the middle of the months?

I'm a tentative Yes for Oct 23rd. My daughter will be home for Spring break. Likely she will have her own plans but just in case she want to hang with the "rents" (parents), I want to keep the day free for now.
Julie - Let me know when we need a definitive answer and I'll ante up.
I am booked 2-3 and possibly 9-10 but the rest of the month is open. I will pencil in the 23rd at Julie's. Let me know if we have another one the middle of the month. Will put on my "creative thinking cap" and try and come up with something "stunning"
On Fridays I participate in the Unity Stamp Company Friends with Flair Blog Hop and there may just be a surprise for one visitor. I have bad news! Well good news actually - but bad news for the swap. Jeff and I are going to Puerto Viarta for a "work" sales thing with Jeff's work - he won a free sales incentive trip. Anyway - we leave on the 20th so I won't be able to make it this month. I am bummed b/c I was looking forward to the old fashioned shoe box swaps like we used to have! But you better believe I will definately be there in December!!!!!
Did I miss something? When did become a sheduling thing to host "mid month"? I thought the hostess just picked a date that was convenient? There have been so many changes going on - just trying to keep up :0)
