I've been to Regionals once and I LOVED it. The group I went with was super fun to be with and we had a blast. I am looking forward to regionals being in St. Louis again.

We had a blast in KC at the regionals. The only thing I can say is start making swaps NOWWWWWWWWWW. I think the swapping was so much fun and wish I had made more than 80 items. My upline took 200 to convention. I got to look through her swaps Wednesday night and OMG they were wonderful.

Hi Jaala,
I'm Nora and I too live in Affton. Just got my power back on this past Monday.. I was going stir crazy. Live across from Reserrection Cemetary off MacKenzie.
I would love to attent Aug 12 at Beth's but have something planned that day. If plan's change Beth I'll let you know.
We can use my church (HWY 55 and Union)... if it is available on Sat.
I would LOVE to participate in a monthly shoebox swap. Never have done one--- always wanted to.
My house is open to. I have 3 dogs 2 corgi's and 1 dog that looks like Mufassa. They like to bark and love to love people--- Just to let everyone know.
Jaala--- sounds like you are REALLY close to where I live.

I went to the Reg last time it was in St. Louis and had a BLAST!
Lynn I did 150 card fronts and I will tell you they ALL went! I was a busy SU beaver putting those together. Some were so involved and I just shook my head and said--- they have way to much time. Some looked at your card to trade and if they didn't like it---they wouldn't trade.
I am setting my alarm clock EARLY to registar for the regional.

LOL you can handle it Lynn. When I went to Regionals two years ago I made 250 swaps and they were gone within an hour. I was sooooo bummed that I didn't make more because there was more girls to swap with. I will try to have tons this year.

Hi is the scoop I got on Regionals. St. Louis on Friday Nov 10 and Sat Nov11. According to DS Registration begins on Sept 27 and cost is $75.
Lynn, You can make the same swap cards OR 2 or 3. I did 2 different ones because when I swapped I got 2 different ones from someone else. You can either use was is in the mini catalog at that time--- great way to display those at your shows or make and takes. OR use a current or new stamp set in the catalog.
I would suggest to make it easy buy eye catching. If you make an eye catching one--- people will definately swap with you.
I saw one SU demonstrator that sat on the floor at the American Center with 5 or 6 different --- had them laying on the floor and people were coming up to her and -- you gave her a card and you can choose one from what she laid out.
Talk about card swapping crazy!! It was fun to watch..

I'm so bummed! I just realized I tripple booked myself for August, so I'm gonna have to cancel stampin' with you girls.
I have a Girl Scout Sleepover with my daughter's troop on Friday-night( I'm a co-leader, kinda gotta be there.) and then on Saturday I have a wedding reception to go to with my hubby.
I was looking forward to meeting all you girls, but I guess I'll have to wait till September.
So--is anyone else coming to Beth's? I wanted to tell you all that my swap in October will be from 10a.m. until 2p.m. I will send out directions as the time gets closer. I may have a friend join me at the one in August. She's checking her schedule! Later, girls!

I won't be there. I just met alot of the gals at the STL Stampede that was held in July. We are having another one in November. So maybe I can come to one of the ones in between, just have to see what the DH's job schedule looks like when the time comes.

Dee - it was great to finally meet you on Saturday. I really enjoyed myself and got some great ideas from this group of talented, creative ladies. If you don't have me down as an attendee for your September meet, please put me on the list. I wouldn't miss it! (BTW...Beth is my hero...she is so talented and so giving too)

Hey ladies this is an update of the total number coming. I believe it to be at 12 now, at last count. There are a couple that are not sure (Lisa havefunstampin) and maybe another, but I say lets make for 12 to be safe. I am so looking forward to this. I say the more the merrier, even if we have to stamp on my husbands slate pool table I am so looking forward to this after the stress of the wedding.

I have to admit I haven't grasped the stamping concept totally but I love it and I'm learning. I'm amazed at how talented everyone is and I hope that maybe some of that will rub off on me I live 10 minutes from St. Louis right across the Poplar Street bridge in Illinois and I work in St. Louis everyday.
Would love to start some new friendships.
