MD, DC, NoVA Shoebox Swap SUNDAY JULY 8th FULL
HI ALL!
I'm interested in hostessing a shoebox swap at my house in northern Silver Spring, MD (near Olney, MD). I've been to one of these and loved it! I would love to meet other SCS members and see their work, newbies are welcome. This will be a +1, please bring an extra finished sample as my sister is in Maine, she'll be sending a shoebox for you to make cards but will not be able to come. No vendor restriction, please use good quality CS. Full size cards (envelopes optional) any theme. Whos's with me?
Sunday July 8 1:30pm
For those who are new to shoebox swaps:
1. Design a card, and make 2 samples
2. Put together a list of instructions to make your card.
3. Precut enough cardstock, ribbons, etc. for each person and place them in a baggie. (If there are 10 people make 10 baggies of supplies)
4. Place the rest of your items (stamps, ink, puches, etc.) and the baggies into a shoebox.
5. When you come, you go to each person's shoebox, grab a baggie of supplies, and make their card with their stuff.
6. Please bring your own adhesive, scissors and bone folder. If your card requires special adhesive such as glue dots, please include that in your shoebox.

I'm thinking we would have to limit it to 20 people, if we get 20 we can do 2 groups of 10...10 upstairs and 10 downstairs...

when we did mine a few years back we had 20 ladies in my house-using both up and down stairs. Just a heads up so you can think about things size wise. __________________

Hello Ladies,
I have to say i am very sorry I was un able to make it today. Hubby was called into work and no one to watch the 10 kids. But I want you all to have the card i desinged. SO PLEASE PM me your address and I will get it to you.
