Dylan is operated on next week after that we will get together to do this. I might even know how to do it correctly by then. I will have had the class under my belt. And Mary to help me. Now that I got my journal done, I am trying to learn to draw. I should probably keep these to myself but what the heck. Just remember I am just learning.

Gloria your talent is an amazing gift from above. Always be proud of it!!! Amazing work, by an amazing artist. Poor Dylan! I'll get a card in the mail. Geee I wish someone would come out with star wars stamps.

Gloria, drawings are wonderful. My favorite thing to draw is faces but your's look much better than mine! Reminds me I want to try to do a drawing of an old photo I have. I started it, but...you know me. I had forgotten about it. geeze. Wow, what is poor Dylan getting doen this time. He is such a trooper.
Everyone have a nice day. I WILL accomplish something today. I WILL. My heather's state semi final championship is Sat. I so hope they win.

Dylan's 18th surgery consists of a bone graph from his hip to the roof of his mouth. They will be doing a little dental work while they are in there. Yes, now starts the dental part of it. These are before and after. Big difference, huh?

Good Morning Ladies! I keep forgetting about this thread, I'm so used to going to FB! I do miss chatting with everyone here like we used to.
Gloria, I would love to get on the Dylan card train. What an amazing grandson you've got there, I can't imagine what he's been through. Let us know when to bombard him with cards. He is in my prayers for a successful surgery and speedy recovery! And you never cease to amaze me with your awesome talent! You excel at everything you do!
Happy Belated Birthday Jane! I hope you had a wonderful birthday and got some brownies for your special day, even if it wasn't Brownie Thursday!
I am so looking forward to the long weekend! I have some cleaning to do to get ready for Thanksgiving and then Christmas but I have promised myself that I will sit down and stamp this weekend as well! I have some special family birthdays this month and next and I need to make some special cards. And I haven't even begun to think about Christmas cards!

If you guys want to do it during the week just give me a couple of days notice and I will take leave in the afternoon.
Dylan's surgery is on the 15th (next Thursday). Gloria thinks he'll only be in the hospital one day. If you would like to participate in the get well card shower for him, please mail your card on Friday, the 16th. The cards should all arrive on the same day filling his mailbox with special get well wishes. If for some reason he doesn't come home in time, Theresa can take them all to him in the hospital.
I will post his address to the Maryland Stampers thread on FB so that it is kept private.

Thank you Ladies of Meade for the warmth of Birthday Wishes. Gloria, your art it truly a gift. I will get a card made for Dylan, man what a war hero he is. That is a true war to fight with surgeries, so man and so young. Please tell Theresa my thoughts are with her too! Kathi, I made my cards already. And I had so many brownies, I don't think I want to see one until after the holidays. Mary did a great job on her journal. I was impressed.
On Paper creations.....that lady makes everything, The stand, the drawers the boxes, the ............everything and Gloria, you would need to be crazy to try it. Of course, with your talent, I guess that is not true. You could do it. Me? Meh, not going to think about it. Just like looking at all her creativity. Hugs to all and have a happy day.

I have to say I enjoyed the Dyan Reaveley's class more than I expected. She puts a new height to the term "getting inky" Well, some of us anyway. lol And then there was Mary with her almost clean hands. I would have been ashamed to walk out of there with hands as clean as hers. lol

I so want to go back to sleep on this rainy day. hard rain woke me up last night.
Off to another dr appt today. ick. Nothing invasive tho so its just that i dont want to go out in this.

I say go for it!!!! It will be nice on Thanksgiving to have it up and also it won't seem like such a hassel when you don't have to do it with all the shopping and last minute gift buying.

This past weekend I was kitty sitting while DS was away and where he lives one person had their tree up and 3 people had their Christmas lights up and on!

There's a house on Joppa Road that has had their decorations up and on since Halloween. I'm so glad I'm not their neighbor.

Good Afternoon! And Jane, I think Meadiacs is very appropriate for this bunch! I'm with you, I am downsizing my decorations this year, it's just getting to be too much and I ain't gettin' any younger.
