Glad you are feeling better. Is the Ft Meade golf course open? Figured I'd ask for the future when he comes back this way. (which I hope is soon, because it does a body good to have him home - better than an apple a day!)

Glad some of you have been crafty. I have a list of cards to work on later this week after Rob goes home. Even cleaned off most of my table on Saturday morning, so I'm ready to start. LOL

I'm pretty sure it's closed. Not 100% but pretty sure...they fenced it off last week and moved a bunch of construction equipment in to start the new buildings. Keith is hoping for a new office! Should be ready by the time he's set to retire. lol

Good Morning Stampers of Meade! Hope you all have a good day...it's MONDAY but hope it's good to you all. We didn't have a week-end...so we are pretty tired.

Good morning! I am back from a weekend in VA (DD's bridal shower). Must get busy working on wedding table cards, name cards, etc. (now that DD 'approved' what I proposed!) DH kept other DD's two dogs while she and I went to VA and I am cleaning nose prints off of windows, vacuuming dog hair and generally cleaning up so I can go stamp without these jobs hanging over me. Had to take a cleaning break and check in and have a cup of coffee, now off to do more cleaning. Catch up later!

Cindy, sounds like your brother's visit has gone perfect. Love it when it works like that. I hope you enjoy every second of it. Glad he is making you laugh and I am sure you have told him some of the horror stories from the Amish trips! Amanda, I like Keith's description but still think you are now a mixed medium.....maybe we should paint on you. That would be fun. Just finished "cleanign up a bit of the Christmas stuff and trying to get it all in one place.........just shoot me if I ask for more Christmas stamps, okay???? Just SHOOT ME! Jeaneen, how did the shower go? I hope she got lots of wonderful gifts.

The shower went well! DD's Godmother, other DD and I spent all day Friday setting up and shopping for then cooking/preparing food and Sat decorating and doing last minute food prep. There were 18 there - many friends from high school (several went to college with her as well), some from college and a few family. She received many nice gifts, most for the kitchen. After the shower, we tidied up a bit and the girls went to DC for DD's Bachelorette party. I made the favors (bashful blue fancy favor boxes with a belly band of night of navy DSP, a flower covering the DSP seam. The boxes were filled with wrapped Hershey Nuggets in a cello bag, tied with ribbon with a "It was sweet of you to come to M's shower" tag tied to the ribbon.) Fun weekend!

Jeaneen, the favors sound lovely. I bet they appreciated the work that went into them. You know, someone told me once that the nose prints on the window are dog art and need not be removed. I have been using that excuse for awhile now.l Would love to see pictures of favors. Are you doing favors for the wedding?
Cindy, so glad you are enjoying your brother's visit.

Look forward to seeing it. I'm supposed to be working on another Cigar box, but everyday I just look at the stack of papers and the box I'm using. My plan is to get it done by next weekend. Wish me luck - no mojo flowing this week.

I made a couple "any soldier" cards. Thats my creativity in a nutshell. I have to make a cake for Sat birthday. Its usually something funny (I use clip art and photos now) but I am comletely brain dead re this ake and I will be gone all day tomorrow. I will make the cake tonight but decorating? yikes? Every year they look forward to what Im going to come up with. Im out of ideas unless Dolores does something funny or something before Sat. I canmake fun of her on the cake decorations!

I'm back from the best vacation ever! We lucked out & had beautiful weather. All of our excursions were great. We saw whales, sea lions, seals and bald eagles. My DS & granddaughter Aislinn went on a bear excursion & saw bears catching & eating salmon on the shoreline. One of my favorite days was cruising through Tracy Arms Fjord...breathtaking views, icebergs all around & an up close view of Sawyer Glacier.

The cruise ship was a lot of fun...being waited on for a week was wonderful. I ate way too much! I'm so glad that we took this trip with our family...we made some great memories together.

Now it's back to reality!

This is so wonderful and I am so jealous. I am glad that you had great weather. Was it cold on the ship? Sounds like a once in a lifetime vacation.

Angie, I paid $13.25 for a box of 250 of the A2 envelopes. And I paid $16.95 for the A6 envelopes. The A6 envelopes are the natural color. I don't know if that made a difference.

So I guess $17.00 for a box of 1,000 is a good deal???!!! Does anyone need envies? If so, I can place an order. There's a company that gives OWH supporters a good deal, apparently. I'm not sure what the shipping costs are.

Sounds like an excellent deal. I would take a box. I might need them if I get this journal done. Yes, still working on the journal. Think I will work on my Christmas cards for a little bit.

Angie, that is an awesome deal on 1000 envelopes. The cheapest up in Amish Country is about $9 per box of 250.

If you haven't ordered yet, I'll take 1000 envelopes please. Just let me know what the cost would be with shipping. Thanks!

Haven't ordered yet. Looks like shipping will be around 6 a box, depending on how many are ordered. So, still a good deal.

Anyone else besides Gloria, Cindy, and me? Of course if anyone only wants "some" and not 1,000, I will share from my order.

I finished another cigar box today. Adhered the feet and left for work, so it'll be ready to be photographed when I get home tonight. It's a gift for my 76-year-old Aunt. However, now it is a get well gift for her since she was just hospitalized with pneumonia!!!! I feel bad...we took her to the fair Friday. She wasn't feeling great...really tired. I think we wore her out

Angie, do you know what type flap they envelope has? And are you talking about white ones?
