Gloria, we were in northern lower Michigan. Hold up your left hand, looking at the back of it, not your palm, then look at the base of your fingernail and that's about where we were, LOL.
Groan....going back to work today HURT! It all started with this really rude noise, waaayyy too early in the morning. Darn alarm clocks. Then the dog wanted out, and breakfast.......I'm pooped after a long day on my feet and still haven't gotten my card finalized. At least the idea is better than the last one.
Good morning Meade Stamp Ladies. Theresa, glad your trip was so good and sorry your day was so bad........I can identify! 80's with a breeze and beautiful river beats 6 am and work any day. Where is the water??? I am ready for the swap. I am ready to see my friends! I missed everyone! Today is Two-Down Tuesday so we can do this! It may be a struggle but it is what we do, right? Except for Angie, she travels way too much. I want to do that...........

Yep, I was a Mainiac for a week. Wonderful weather, perfect location and a great time. No bail money needed either! Still struggling to get caught up but I am getting there.

Good morning Stampers of Meade. I've done no stamping lately (other than my card) but I've been loving my sewing machine. How long before you kick me outta the group for not stamping? lol Sending hugs, it's Wednesday half way...we can do this!!!!

That is a great technique. I don't have water color paper or many distress ink colors. I wonder if you could get a similar effect with alcohol markers?

I was going to look further at that watercolor technique. Looked like something I might like. But do you have to use distress inks? I'll probably never try it unless someone gives a class or something. So many printouts, so much time, so little interest to complete anything.
You know Amanda, you were right about there not being as many brads around. Think I might end up ordering a bunch of colors on line just to have. You know I dont have hardly any! LOL.
Good morning all. I slept in a little this morning. I didnt go to bed until 2 or 2:30. ugh.
Finally found the right green stamp pad for my swap card but couldnt find the brads I wanted. Will have to settle for what I have.
Off to dentist - yet another crown has fallen off. This one has 4 posts on it to hold it on, so not sure what they can do. No pain thankfully.
Guess I'll try to clean up in here today. I have 2 units to assemble for my storage thing. I need the table space to do it. Of course, Ive only had these units for a year or so.
Everyone have a good day.
Geez, I think when I see your creations Gloria, that I need to hang up my stamping hat. Amazing. Where did you find the Believe Stamp like that? I love it. I looked at Lilly of the Valley stamps and wanted them all but they are shown in pounds..............um, I got in trouble last time I tried that!
Have they seen your cards? I see a new design team in your future.....
Good morning Meade.....Stampers.......It's Friday. Yep, pretty sure!

Gloria, I left a message on your blog but I dont think it took. Anyhow, your cards are adorable (of course). I love the cat card and think a card entirely sparkly would be nice. LOL. Glad to know other people make those kinds of mistakes. I probably would have tossed it in the garbage and never made anotehr card.
I am sure that they see a million cards like mine. The believe stamp is one of Outlines stamps called F-1124 Posy Winter Greetings. They fit a 1 inch punch perfect. That makes it so much easier. I have been coloring the edges with my copics to match the main image and using glossy accents to cover the middle of the circle. I am just finishing up two more cards. I will post them in a while. I love coloring these little stamps. They take no time and they fit into the Nesties easy. The style of card is called a (God, I can't remember, give me a minute) " kick stand." Geez. its hell to get old. The front of the card is cut where its border punched and the main image is down below this and is even with the bottom of the card. Its different. I like different.
Gloria, send me the link to the stamps. I swear, I looked and can't find them. It is exhausting to stamp. Oh, the stress. All those beautiful cards and thecniques just amaze me! So much fun with all of the ladies. So good to see you Ms. G and your cards are way beyond my skill level. They look so good and so real and so perfect!

Gloria, you're probably still not 100% even tho you feel good. Your body heals while you sleep. So thats your excuse. I went and laid on the sofa which I rarely do unless Im very tired and slept for 2 hours and that was just a couple hours after I got up for the day. Had such a good time. I didnt do anything when I got home. I asked Michelle to stop at a drive thru and we got Arbys and ate in the car and I went home and SAT!

Jane, I too loved the stamps that Gloria used and went to the Lili of the Valley web site to check out their stamps. In the upper right hand corner, you can click on the US flag button and it will convert the figures to US Dollars when it shows each product. Maybe we can put an order together so we can save on shipping.
Pete, I will check out your suggestion and maybe we can combine an order. Gloria, I am still looking for the circle word Believe....I went to the site you mentioned but still couldn't find them. Now, I can't even remember the site for the word Believe. I found Believe Square and Believe in Magic Square...... I loved the word circles. And Pete, thanks so much for the fun give-away. I love my silver and pick little round bag! Too fun. I also admire your ability to pull together ALL the different punches and die cuts and get them properly bagged. I loved that card. Now I need to figure out which of my girls will get it.....may have to send it as a hi to both!
Gloria, I need a tutorial on mixed media..............may need to try online to see what I can find.
Oh, Wait Good Morning Stampers of Meade! What fun you all are. Saturday was amazing good fun.
