Think I'm catching what's going around. Achy & tired today & can't seem to get warm. Of course it doesn't help that a crown came off of my tooth and inside of my mouth is sore, so off to the dentist tomorrow. Went to ENT doc today for follow after 21 days of antibiotics and a CT of my sinus. He wants to do sinus surgery to clear my sinuses. Has anyone had it done? Checked it out online & it doesn't sound like fun.

Doctor's appointment went well - not much can be done with low blood sugar except to try to work on my diet. This is a bit challenging because of my gastric stuff. Have made a appointment with another dietitian who hopefully will help to figure how I can eat to keep the blood sugar levels where they need to be without affecting the gastric problems along with some other health issues. Should be fun.
Paula, i havent had the surgery but know people who have had sinus surgery, dont know if its the same surgery or not. Not pleasant but only for a little while and then your sinuses are ok. So from what I remember, well worth it. I hear you on the sinus thing. I am SO tired of it.
I am going to join you guys for lunch tomorrow. Jane is picking me up.
Have to leave in a little while to go to my cancer support group. havent been in a few months. I had planned to make little hot choc thingies, but of course, didnt. Good intentions dont really mean much do they?

Had a physical tonight with my new primary doc. She seems nice. Got a tetnus shot too, so I'm waiting for the pain in the arm the next few days. What's another shot, right?? LOL Blood work in January - she was nice and said I could go after the holidays.
Tonight is laundry duty and Christmas cards. Hoping to get the 25+ that are completed addressed and mailed tomorrow. I'm slowly running out of time and steam.
When I got home last night, Danny had the entire tree decorated and the living room decorated with knick knacks and such. That's a first in our marriage!! I guess since I said I wasn't doing anything, he wanted to have something to lift my spirits. Jane, it's working a little bit. Hoping my weekend in the kitchen baking really gets me there.
Okay, let's see, we are doing lunch tomorrow for Challenor....can't remember your name......sorry! We are meeting at the Queen's Ink at 1 if you want to join us. Mary and Paula, get better. Paula, I had a doc tell me she wanted to "flush the sinuses to remove a blockage" and after describing it, I said no thanks. It did finally clear by itself. Ask what they do before you agree! If they put you out, it's a different procedure and could be fine. Amanda, cookies~ Rose, see you tomorrow....Angies and Gloria, you too! Cindy, thank DH for me and tell him I will send his payment when I can because you know I bribed him right? (Jus kiddin) I am glad he did that for you and once you hit the kitchen you will be singing. Just put on Bing.

Elizabeth, tomorrow is just a spur of the moment lunch. Other times we do shoebox swaps or stamp a stacks. Queens Ink is a stamp store in Savage Mill, near Laurel.

Paula I had sinus surgery a few years ago. They put me out so it wasn't bad. They had tubes up my nose that had to stay there a couple weeks. I worried so much about the removal of them but it was a breeze. I was having sinus infections one after another but sense the operation I haven't had any.
Angie, I paid for my die at Janes. I will get Mary's and Paula's tomorrow. Glad you are coming to lunch. Elizabeth hope you can make it. It will be nice to meet you. Rose I am so happy you are going to make it

So sorry about the tooth Paula! Hope they can just re-attach it and you don't have to get a new one. Sorry you are not feeling well either, hope it is gone before Christmas! I've not had the sinus surgery although my ENT doc wanted to do it some years back but I said no, I didn't like how it sounded either! Do you have a deviated septum as well?

Cindy, I had a tetnus shot a little while back and waited for the sore arm to happen but it never did! It was a nice surprise! Maybe yours won't hurt either! Glad you like the new doc!

There is a big trial going on and they expect lots of crazy protesters. So guess I'll stay home. Or at least drive around until I find a "free" gate.

Good morning Stampers and so good to see your cheery face Ms. A! Yes, Gloria, my protective elf, sent me the warning! Nice lady, that G! We had a terrific time. We didn't shop, I did get your house turned in and I never even looked at the houses! I need to go back this week-end to check them out. We all had delightful desserts and mine was a Busche de Noel (SP??) and it had a little saw in it. So cute! It was just fun to sit and chatter. I do love my stamping friends and it is always a treat to get together. Today is FRIDAY! Now, I know I can handle this week! Not as sure about next week. I hope you all have fun plans.

Happy FRIDAY! Whoohoo! I was thinking this week would never end. I have lots of stuff to do today..and my wonderful overprotective hubby woke me up at 5am to tell me NOT to leave post today. Toby is finally getting groomed today. He is definitely over due. His incision is healed so I dont think it will be a problem. I'll just tell the groomer to be careful. His skin condition is getting worse, which i suspect might have something to do w/my throat congestion. Oh well, too bad. Altho, maybe Kathi would take him for me. It would add a lot of excitement to her house as he doesnt like other dogs.
Well, off to get dressed as I cant seem to accomplish anything if Im in my nightgown.

Cindy I forgot to comment on your husband having the Christmas tree and decorations up when you got home. That warmed my heart. I love to hear when married people are happy together.
