Well what was going to be a really busy day has turned into a lazy day for me... The boys still haven't cleaned up their rooms. Kinda nice to just relax. Kinda wish it would rain. My garden needs it.
Don't know whether you got any rain or not but it poured buckets the whole time I was at the hairdresser's (2 hours). Thank goodness it let up a little bit so I could run to the car and not mess up my hairdo!
All the storms seem to pass by here and then slam Mary. We really need some rain. I have to show you guys the birthday card Paula made me. If it isn't just the cutest...[

I spent some time (and money) at Home Depot today, but no yelling. I got a new kitchen faucet and dishwasher air gap, drain opener (not for the same sink, LOL) and other odds and ends. Got my workshop order last night and got it all sorted out by this morning. My personal order won't be here until Tuesday.

None of the workshop order stuff was mine. I'll get my new goodies in a few days and then I might have a chance at deciding on a favorite (if that will even be possible, LOL!) As for busy, today I went and got my new floor mats for my car (wore through one), Home Depot for furnace filters, the pet store for dog food, the grocery store, and a visit to check out a local "Curves" with my DD. Now I need new workout shoes before Monday.........
Amanda, another great day of creative projects from you. Thanks so much. I can't believe that you even made those butterflies that were on the bottom of the ring of the lollipop. It was way cute. And, of course, what could we say about being at Jane's house and her show and tell with her special collection (you will just have to ask her yourself about it!). Good food, good gossip, great group of creative ladies.

Thanks Amanda and Jane for a fun afternoon! I loved all the projects Amanda and a big thank you for the adorable flower with the beads and butterflies! Jane you are a wonderful hostess, it's always fun stamping at your house! It was so nice seeing everyone again, I can't wait for our birthday get-together at my house in 2 weeks! Those of you who weren't able to make it, you were missed!

Yep- I'm waiting till morning when it's light to get pictures of them, so they'll be on my blog sometime tomorrow. These cards are amazing!!!! And they were actually EASY to make!!!
Good Morning Everyone! A beautiful day out there but a little warm already!
I have some chores to do this morning before I head out to do a home visit for the rescue and then another bath for Sammy when I get back this afternoon. Hope to get some stamping done later, working on Amanda's projects yesterday has gotten my mojo going again finally! I was beginning to think it was never coming back!

Good morning!!! I'm having a hard time getting going this morning. I did get pics of the cards we made yesterday and got them posted to my blog in case anyone is interested. Of course, none of my cards are perfect...there's something wrong with each one! Oh, well. Practice makes perfect!
Need to go do laundry...have to pick DS up at the airport today but his plane doesn't land till about 7:30pm.
Kathi, Sadie needs a bath too! Everyone must be doing laundry...me too. Hope to do some stamping today. Want to browse through the new catty too so I can make a wish list. Off to check out your cards, Mary. I'm sure they're beautiful.

Good afternoon all. What a fun time yesterday. By the time my company came, I had partially cleaned up. Then ended up fixing dinner for all and another late bedtime. I'm tired! Doing Laundry, went to the fish market and the grocery store. Fixed a pot of greenbeans and some fresh corn and black bean salsa. Dinner will be crabcakes for our company and early to bed!
Amanda, thank you so much. Every project was amazing and I can't wait to get my house back to stamping selfishness! I want to try my new set and play. All my cards/projects were much admired by company and DH. They think I am a geniuous....LOL, well, they think you are a genious...! It was such a fun time and a fun group. Don't forget, everyone promised to make sure the gift they bring to the birthday is bash is something everyone will want madly! It should be a fun time and there are some creative ideas going on. Smiles and hugs to all, DM, you were missed. Why didn't you contact Paula???? You would have had a great time!

Rose and Paula, I am trying to convince Dean that he needs to install one of those self-service dog washes in our basement. The thing would pay for itself in no time with all my critters! And I could retire and open up my own dog washing business right in my own home! He actually likes the idea so maybe someday!
Kathi, but we need YOU to do the washing. The Dogs & Co across from me has the bathtubs where you can wash them but I need his nails cut so might call the groomer.
Made a trip thru the catty today and have a list started. Of course I cant find the list I had started before I went to Janes. It only had a couple things on it tho.
Question about birthday lunch- the gift- it's not handmade, is it? For some reason I'm remembering a $20 store bought gift for the Chinese Auction?? I sure hope so 'cause I'm running out of days to do things before we leave for South Dakota! I just couldn't remember...I know the Secret Sister gift is handmade...

We had a fantastic time. And thanks again for driving Mary! I still can't believe everything we learned yesterday from Michelle. I need to get more stamp pads so I can really get to using my brayer. I've always just used the stampin' spots so I don't have a lot of full size pads!

I'm bored...sure wish I could bring my stamping stuff to work with me! I've already printed off some digi-images to work on over the weekend. For some reason I can't open the files at home so I have to do it at work...AND I desperately need to figure out how to attach a watermark to a photo...

Can't wait to go to Michelle Zindorf's classes on Saturday with Gloria and Theresa! Sorry to be missing Amanda's workshop, though...I'll make sure that Gloria sets up a day and time for a brayering class...she's as good as Michelle Zindorf already!

What great projects you guys made at the New Caddy reveal. We had a great time at the Zindorf class as you all have read. And Mary didn't make any mistakes on any of her cards. Her cards were super. Can't wait for the lunch on Friday. Just watched the Jaycee Dugard interview. That poor girl, she seems to be doing ok now. But what a screw up by the police and parole organization.
Mary, yes to the store bought gift....value of $20. And yes to the handmade gift for SS and you neeed to hope I am not your secret seister because I don't have the talent some of you do! And I didn't see anything but beautiful in your cards. So, with Paula, I am ready for the first class!
