the idea here is you go to all the tables at your own pace - you may take the kits home that you don't finish. This worked out well at the last event I attended. the +4 cards are for 1-display/doorprize 2-table sample 3&4 - for hostesses
sounds wonderful, do you need the name of our shoebox when we get it figured out to be put on a list so we can check off the ones we do and the ones needed to be done?
Boy girls.... I haven't even started!!!!!!!!!!! I better get my buns going, huh????????
glad everyone is on the finish line...I'm must be the snail of the group.
I started thinking about mine......does that count?
Becky, you may only have your ideas in a box......but your ideas are always fabulous. I just love all your special fold cards!
Been working on the star fold. I want an easy way to do it and have it work EVEY time. That is easier said than done especially with all the skill levels of students I get. I had the school group do it on Tuesday and everyone's came out. Now just working on other sizes so it can be done multiple ways. The more I figure out, the less everyone else has to do. I'll be demoing it on Saturday at Michael's in Batavia if anyone is in the area. The star card and the triangle gift card fold. The more I do with the folds, the easier they get. Always good when I teach in Ohio (Adventures In Stamping) from home to get something.
Address in thread post
Nancy, diane and I are still down in Fl. Her parents are putting us up. We return home on tuesday.
Earlier we were at SU leadership. Lots of fun....
I was going to change my nvr but decided its not viable...so i guess my projects are all done.. just gonna double check everything and make sure supplies are included. So ya'll better get going.... I can't wait...
Here's a question I haven't seen asked yet....seeing as we are going to be getting together in a conference room, I am assuming the event is in a hotel? What is the name of it? We need to make work of getting a room.

It's at the gathering area of a grocery store apparently. I was going to ask if it was reasonably close to one of the comfort inn's we usually stay at.
Thanks Melissa. I think it must be close, as it's on Sheridan Ave. What are you doing up.......didn't you work this weekend?
I'm actually working on my ATCs!
Yes it is not far from the Inns on Sheridan Dr - maybe a 5 min ride. We are at Wegman's on Sheridan Dr. They do not allow their name to be used unless it is a store sponsored event. They have a great Market Cafe upstairs for eating and 2 conference rooms that are private. Our food wil be catered by Wegmans and you also have access to the food cafe downstairs on the main level should you want extra eats or drinks other than what we will be having. I will post more info as we get closer to the date.

Yes, I did work this weekend. It's amazing how annoying prima donna doctors can be. I don't think he appreciated being called immediately for every cough, sniffle or hiccough that walked in the door....but that's what he's getting the big money for right?
I had a bit of energy after yoga and peeked in to see if the final #'s had been posted, and I see that they have.

That sounds pretty easy to get to, Joanne. Funny that they won't let the name be used if you are renting the space from them. Sort of like holding a wedding but not being allowed to name the church in the invitations.
Quick question about the recipe swap, are certain recipes more popular than others? IE: main dish versus side dish, dessert versus appetizers, etc?
The Tea Cup is a Sizzix die I recently bought. When finished, it's about the height of a regular tea cup, but it's only about an inch and a half wide (without the flower).
Just need to attach my recipe to the 6x6 swap and I'm done with all my swaps!! That leaves more time for event planning- just got some more cool doorprizes!
you lucky duck, I'm just figuring out if I can do both gatherings in February and March. The new one in April is really nice but it might be too close to the convention to be realistic.
