Central Pa- Harrisburg Area- Stampin for MDA Day???- IT'S A GO!!!!

OK- THE DATE HAS BEEN SET- BECAUSE OF WEDDINGS... I HAD TO SCHEDULE A SUNDAY.
THE DATE: SUNDAY APRIL 15TH
THE TIME: 10AM-4PM
In the Harrisburg Area.
Tall Cedars of Lebanon Cedarettes of Harrisburg is hosting a "Stampin for MDA" day- MDA stands for Muscular Dystrophy Association.
How many of us are out there that would be willing to spend a Sunday doing MAKE & TAKES for approx. $25 with a portion of the proceeds going to MDA? That would include MAKE AND TAKES as well as refreshments and door prizes. I am hoping to get 10-12 consultants from the stamping community to have 2 projects for each person to do. So that would be 20-24 items each of us would take home.
:-D Also- are there any of you that are consultants or non consultants that would be willing to host a make and take table? You can be from any stamping company, store or experienced stamper. We would like to keep the projects kind of simple to moderate. - (this is like a Stamp Camp)
We will give a reservation count close to the date so all table hosts know how many sets of materials are needed.
We would also like each consultant to donate a stamped door prize for us to give away. It can be anything from packs of cards to candles or even ornaments. - We can give letters of donation to you for your time and materials for your taxes.
We would expect each consultant to bring your networking materials so that you could get some free advertising as well.
If you would like to attend, please send me a PM and I will forward the directions as to where your $25 can be sent to reserve your spot. This is a tax deductable donation.
Reservations are due by: March 31st- you must have a reservation so that we have an acurate head count.

I'm in NJ, not PA, but my MIL lives in Camp Hill, so I'd be interested and could probably bring her along too. She's just starting to get interested in stamping. Please keep me informed.

I just need them mailed to me by March 31st. We'd like to do a door prize every 15 minutes so I will need several items. I put an angel post under the swaps but no one has replied yet.

Can you please post the actual street address of this event, so I can figure out how long it would take from Baltimore to get there? I might be able to get some of us from down here to drive up for the day.
Hi, I just tried to mapquest this and it asked me if it was Old Jamestown Road. Is it the same thing? If so, it would be about 95 miles for me or an hour and 45 minutes, but I might still be interested, depending on the date.

Thanks much. We are still in need of table hosts as well as donationed items for the door prize table. We have gals from the Cedarettes that will actually work the event.

<---- my 4 yr old son (one of the cuties in my avatar) has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. I'm so thankful to you and everyone that has posted they will help or attend. You are all angels. The MDA is such a wonderful organization.....they do so much to help the families. I'm soooooo glad that I found these posts. I would have been upset to miss such a great cause, especially right here in my "backyard".
