Everyone intersted please contact Lynda Grossman, See below.
I wanted to give you an update
--The following ladies have RSVPd so far: Michelle Ratliff, Barbara Todd, Patti McDermott, Tammy Orr, Kathy Taylor, Wendy McKenzie, Laura Turnmire, Tammy Pre, Cindy Leal, Kim Humbard, Wendy Ramsey, Sally Stroman, Lynda Grossman, Patrice Marialke, Allyson Allyn, Amy Linkletter, Bonnie Everard, Linn and Linn's daughter. That is a total of 19 as of today. Remember the final deadline is April 28th, so pass the information to your friends and encourage them to come.
--The nametag contest is elective but Barbara T. & Michelle R. are providing a wonderful loaded gift bag that you would love to win.
--The gift exchange is also optional. If you bring a gift, you will be taking one home. Please limit the cost to $10 or make something special. We will do it around lunch time.
--For the potluck, bring a hot or cold food that can be eaten with your fingers. Patti M. is bringing buffalo chicken strips and I am making BBQ meatballs. Canned Coke products and bottled water will be provided for the day but you are welcome to bring your favorite other beverage.
--Dont forget your 2 or more Ronald McDonald cards or your $5 donation to the Ronald McDonald House. The cards should be made without sentiments if possible to allow a greater usefulness for the families staying there. Please provide an envelope. You can even place a stamp on it if you would like.
--Related to the Shoebox Swap There is no theme for the swap. The full card or 3-D item needs to be fairly clean and simple. Each person will need to provide all items necessary to make the item including glue dots, dimensionals, red tape, embellishments, etc. Anything that can be done in advance to make it quicker is appreciated (like punching out framing pieces). There should be minimal necessary cutting and coloring to expedite the fabrication. You will provide one sample and an envelope (not mandatory) or zip-lock bag with all the parts to put together one for each attendee. Everyone should be able to assemble it without many (or any) instructions. Dont forget your runner adhesive and scissors to carry from station to station with your finished items.
--So far we have a few people that are bringing stamp sets and other paper crafting items to resell. Also Patti M. will be selling 12 hand-stamped assortment card boxes for $25 and Tammy O. is selling survival bracelets for $5. Of course you can place a Stampin Up! order too if you would like.
I guess that is all for now. Please e-mail me or call (843)376-3131 me if you have any questions.
Cant wait for the 5th!
Blessings,
Lynda
