Hostess: Candice
Type of Swap: Assembly Style

When: Saturday December 8th
Time: 11 AM
Where:Round Table (Broadstone Shopping Center, Folsom)
Fee: There is no fee for this swap.

Food: Since we are meeting at a resturant, we ask that you purchase a drink and/or lunch out of respect and appreciation for being able to use their facility for FREE.

RSVP: The cut-off date for sign up will be December 1st. It will then be posted how many kits are to be made.

Theme: Anything Goes (any holiday, any gender, birthday, thank you, sympathy, gift cards holder, christmas tag, etc). Lets Have Fun!!

**Each person attending will bring at least one sample of a completed card project and kits of the sample to complete.
**Each kit should be in some type of baggie, be pre-cut, pre-stamped, ribbon cut, etc. The baggies should be placed in a shoebox or basket to be brought to the swap.
**Envelopes are not required unless card is non-standard size.

The swap is not limited to cards...other paper projects are welcomed.

The number of kits to be brought will be determined after the close of the sign-up period. Only one card/project is required; however, it is always nice to have a second project, especially if the group is small. It is entirely up to you.

Tool Kits: Please bring a basic tool kit which will include: scissors, bone folder, adhesive, glue dots, pops ups or foam tape. It may also include any other tool that might be needed or useful. If a particular tool or item is needed for your card/project, please indicate when signing up or sometime before the swap. You may post a comment on the thread informing the people signed up what the need will be.

The swap will begin promptly at 11:00 am and conclude at 2 PM or when all the cards have been completed.

Count me in!

The address for the Round Table is 2793 East Bidwell, Folsom. It is at the far end of the shopping center near Coldstone Creamery.

I'm in although it depends on whether I've had my eye surgery or not...for more clarification, RT is located in the same complex as the Macaroni Grill and Mimi's...there's a Starbucks next to it...coming off of Hwy 50 on Scott Rd/E. Bidwell, turn left on Broadstone and right at the first driveway...

Thank you!! The shopping center itself is really easy to find..but small resturants are sometimes a pickle to find.

Default Ornament Exchange

Hi Ladies!!

For those that want to participate..bring a wrapped Christmas tree ornament for an Ornament exchange. Again, it's not required, just something FUN to do.

Let me know if you have any questions

Has anyone thought about what kind of "anything goes" card they are bringing? It will be here before we know it.

It's suppose to be rainy the next several days..so I'm hoping to at least figure out what I'm going to do.

We have just a few more days before we stop sign-ups. I'll email everyone this weekend with the final count.

Speaking of weekend, is everyone ready for a very wet weekend? We are suppose to go get our tree...hopefully the rain stops long enough for us to get it cut down and be on our way.

Have a great night everyone!!

Good Afternoon Everyone,

I hope everyone weathered the storm. We had some minor flooding in our backyard, but was able to move the drain cover around and it started draining out to the street. Thankfully nothing blew away.

Well, our swap is now closed. You will bring 8 kits plus 1 completed sample to the swap and a wrapped ornament if you would like to participate in our ornament exchange.

I will also send out an email to everyone as well.

I'm off to finish decorating the tree and house so I can work on my cards this week.

Hello, ladies... I know it's pretty last minute and I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to drop out this time around. My daughter just had major back surgery and I've been spending a lot of time at her house taking care of her. Not being home makes it difficult to get my own stuff done. I'll catch you next time.

Hi Linda-No problem! I hope her recovery is quick. My father had back surgery a few years ago and it was a long healing process for him. We will miss you and we hope to see you in February.

Hi Ladies,

I just sent out an email to everyon as well...so this is a duplicate.

We've had a few ladies cancel, so you'll just need to bring 6 completed kits and 1 sample.

See everyone Saturday at 11:00am.

WOW!! Can I just say that I broke a record for myself. My kits are done TWO days in advance! Woohoo!

Hint: It's a VERY simple card, layered, everyone needs one eventually, and you can mail it with not special stamps because it lays flat.

See everyone in two days!

Hi ladies, if you don't already have a good strong adhesive in your kits, please bring one for tomorrow. There are a lot of layers on my card so I want to make sure everyone's card holds together. See you tomorrow!
