Our next shoebox swap will be on Saturday, March 28, from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., at Faith Fellowship Church, 4375 Ebenezer Road, Perry Hall, MD. No particular theme! There is room for 31 people (over 18 years of age please) to attend with each person bringing a shoebox swap for 30 people to make and something to share for lunch. There is a $10 non-refundable charge per person for hall rental and expenses which needs to be sent to me prior to the swap to secure your spot. Everyone who signs up must have a SCS ID to make this fair for everyone attending. All cards are to be full cards. Please bring enough supplies for everyone to make your card including all cardstock, stamps, inks, embellishments, tools, etc., along with your own adhesive and scissors to use on all the projects we make. Please make sure all of your supplies are labeled with either your name or initials, so we all go home with the stuff we brought. We'd like each person to have a sample and typed instructions in their box telling how to make your card, and also have their swaps in baggies or envelopes containing everything each person needs to do your card. This really helps make the swap go more smoothly.
All cards or projects must be made using Stampin' Up stamps, cardstock, inks, etc. Stamps and colors can either be current or retired.
Please bring something to share for lunch. When you sign up for the swap, please post what youll bring for lunch. We do not have use of an oven, so please do not bring anything to be baked or that needs to be heated up. Crock pots are welcome. There is a refrigerator we can use.
There will be several door prizes throughout the day. And we will also be doing the card ministry drawings again, so feel free to bring your cards to donate. These can be old swap cards, card fronts, or even one of the cards you are doing for the swap. We collected a huge assortment of cards in January that has really kept our card rack full.
To sum up what youll need to bring shoebox swap (no theme), something to share for lunch, and cards for the card ministry if you'd like to donate any.
So start posting your RSVPs and what youll share for lunch. Any questions, post them here or PM me. Im hoping for a great turn out.
Whoo Hoo! I am very excited about the March swap. I will most likely do another easy peasy 3-d swap item. (If that is ok with you Cindy). Also, my DH will most likely be in Afganistan when the swap is on, so I have no idea right now what food item I'll bring.
I will try and work on some door prizes as well!
Our family just returned from Craig (oldest DS) graduation from Airman basic military training, it was a fun weekend, check out the details on my blog!
Cindy, please sign me up for the March swap. I'm looking forward to it, as usual. Thanks a bunch as always for having it! I'll get my registration form to you ASAP and I'll bring a couple jugs of iced tea, both sweet and not. Lynn
Okay sign me up for taco salad.
Can you also sign Ashley [any2008] up for the swap. I will ask her what she wants to bring, and we will get our payments in the mail either today or tomorrow.

Hi Cindy - Please add me and Diane Rambeau to the list. I'd also like to add two newcomers - Pam Denkines and Linda McCaslin. I'll get back to you with what we'll be bringing for the pot luck. Thanks so much! Lisa Anderson
To those of you signing up friends - everyone signed up must have their own SCS ID to keep this fair to those of us who are SCS members. They will need to come to this thread and post for themselves to sign up. Donna, please let the 5 ladies you signed up know this - I'm not sure if they are members here, but they aren't signed up for this swap until I can confirm they are members. Lisa, the same for your two friends.
I'm sorry to do this, but this is an opportunity for us to meet other SCS members that live around us and get together to stamp. I want to keep this fair for everyone. I know this is going to ruffle some feathers, but I feel that this is a SCS event and only advertised here.
And if these ladies aren't signed up on SCS, they should be to experience other forums not open to guests. They are missing out on a lot that this site offers.

Lisa, thanks for getting back to me with their SCS ID's. They are both signed up.
Cindy - can you add me to your waiting list? Marcia called me at work to let me know your post was out, but I see the swap filled up before I could respond. Thanks! Cathy
Cindy,
Just got my new email up after moving to a temp apt. due to the flooding. Looks like I'll be in this for 3-4 months till the house is fixed. I just got to read the email from you but unfortunately, it's already filled. Let me know if it changes and if it's not to late, I'll try to jump in.
I know I PM'ed you about this instead of posting to the list but it's hard to get on here from work. So here I am now.
I will bring Loretta & Theresa. Do I have to bring anything else-LOL.
Just kidding. I'll wait to see what food is needed as we get closer, if that is OK.
I understand the SCS member thing. I had stampers from my work want to come to one of your swaps a year or so ago and they couldn't untill they joined Splitcoast.
Love your Shoebox Swaps Ms. Cindy. Great door prizes, organized beautifuly and always so much fun & lots of laughts.
I can't wait. I have new toys to plan my card with.
Inky Hugs to all,
Kathy

Hi Cindy,
This is my first shoebox swap. Can't wait! I'll have to get back to you with what I will be bringing...if that's OK. Thank you so much! Linda McCaslin:
Hi Cindy,
This is Sara.
Harrahx2 (my Aunt Jane) signed me up.
I am on splitcoast user name: whatapickle
I can bring veggie and dips.
In addition I may bring a dessert, because I love to bake and then I have a reason to eat desserts!
Thank you for organizing another swap; They are incredible fun.
Sara
I have no problem with taking the group to 40. The more the merrier. I do agree that it will be important that the cards be not too elaborate in terms of time to complete, and also the one box per person at the table. I know our table was the last to finish in January because we were all waiting for the same box, and it was the most complicated card. So with those things in mind, I think 39 card is easily in reach. Thanks again for putting it together.
I was just wondering do you still have openings for the 40 count yet? I would like to come. I'm Pam Parto's sister-in-law and she was talking about it while we were out of town so this is my first chance to making contact about this event! Sorry! Debbie ;o) Keeping my fingers cross!!!!!
