Since it is a week day I'd like to get some feedback about what time is good for everyone.
Afternoon is good for me, but I can make evening work if I need to. My husband and 2 older daughters will be out of town, so my 11yo will be babysitting! <eek> :-)

YIKES!
I'm thinking we should try to be finished up by 5-6???
I am hoping to be in Idaho that week....don't know for sure yet so can't commit. I may not know til the last minute.....if that is the case can I stop in and visit with you gals and skip the swap/stamping? I love to meet other SCSers and we still plan on moving back to Idaho
OH please do!!!! You can stamp anyway!!! It's a store w/ stuf to buy!!!
Just stumbled onto this thread. This sounds like FUN! I've never been to a shoe box swap.
I doubt I'll be able to make this one, but do any of you know of other get togethers besides in Boise? Let's say closer to the Twin Falls area? And how often are these scheduled?
Rachel, can you do a mass pm for those of us interested. I'm getting the replys posted to this thread, but I'm not sure that I have all the details! I'm SOOOO excited though!
~Kendra
If you plan on putting another one togehter, do you think it could be on a weekend instead of during the week, with working and kids activities, weekends are more of a safe bet.

I will do another one I'm sure....we had to do the weekday this time b/c of so many other obligations and convention, but Definitly next time we'll try for a weekend

This is my first time planning something like this.....I was searching and searching and just decided to do it myself....I'm not sure of any in the Twin Falls area, but maybe you could do one???

A little bird told me there is even a swap already designed and prepared!!!!!!
How about munchies??? Can't stamp and chat without them, right?

Let me know what you would like to bring.....we need enough for 12 people.
ALSO! It has been requested by 2 people to move it back to 3 p...is that ok w/ everyone? I'd rather start w/ everyone and have people leave a bit earlier than others than have someone come in after introductions....

3 is fabulous! I can't wait! I'm at a year-round school and we have to go through the end of June, so this will definately give me something to look forward to! Plus, I get to go on a paid-vacation starting the Sunday after we get together! I have to go learn something, but still a free vacation!
Ummmm.... I'll bring something salty since no one has signed up to bring anything!

I am it should be fun I need to figure out what my swap is going to be I am hard at work on my convention swaps so I need to add this one to my list so I can get it all ready.

I have a card buffet at my house tomorrow--I have sign ups for 90 cards! I hope I can work on my swap next week, when my brain is clearer. :-) I am excited to get to meet you all in person!
I haven't got a swap yet, but I am excited! I'll be working on it sometime next week I'm sure. I think I could bring a liquid - not too many signed up for that one. See you all soon!
I was asked wether our Swaps should be SU exclusive....sorry I never clarified this.
USE ANYTHING YOU WOULD LIKE!!! Stampin' Up makes Wonderful products, but they don't have a lock on Awesome....so if you have other stuff, fine, if you demo another company show us your stuff....we will be in a store, so we will have a chance to shop for cool paper and accessories as well.

Ohhh wish I would have known earlier, I would have used the new fluffle cat/snail stamp I just got!! I have my swap ready to go, looking forward to stamping with everyone and getting to meet other fellow SCS from Idaho.

Thank You for going to all the work to put the July 6th shoebox swap together. I have Michelle Ruiz that would like to come. She is one of my demonstrators. Is there still room? She lives in Caldwell. Question. Are we doing full cards or card fronts? Are we also doing a card swap besides the shoebox swap. I love any kind of swaps. Are we also bringing a prize? I can always do that. I will bring some chocolate. We can't stamp without chocolate. This is going to be great. Thank You so Much Again.
Rachel,
I am just checking in with you, I messaged you earlier about this swap but haven't heard back, to know if I am added to the list so, I thought I'd go this route.
Barbara

So sorry it took so long to get back with you....there is room...we will do full cards w/ any company products....you make 1 prototype and then bring the materials for all the rest of us to make one....so if I was making a card w/ Looks Like Spring, on Bashful paper w/ eyelets I would make one then bring enough paper for each person to make one plus the eyelets, the ink and the Looks like Spring set....clear as mud?
We will do some kind of drawing or competition for door prizes, so everyone should bring a door prize $5 minimun value (does not have to be stamp related)
