Arlene, I have some cards for you from Sue (gregzgurl). I pulled out those that had glitter.
Rather than save them for the November event (not sure if you are coming, anyway), I will try to remember to ask Janet to take them for you when I see her on Wednesday.
Please take a moment to post the name of your shoebox project. I will print out a check off list for you. Maybe touch base with a "non-regular" SCStamper to get theirs to help complete the list?

WARNING! Do NOT drive while sleepy! Stephen was really tired after our big day at Boldt Castle so I started to drive home while he slept. After about 45 minutes I was sleepy, too, and started looking for a parking lot to pull over and nap. Before that could happen I found myself waking up starting to cross the line and head into the other lane and toward a car! Thankfully God was watching over us all because I was able to pull back into my lane without causing an accident. !!!
Glad you're okay. Someone tried to get me this morning, they were about a foot away coming over the line when I tooted my horn.

The reason I ask that you bring your own plates ... You can leave your sandwich together and not have to worry that someone messes up. It might also be a good idea to have a note near the machine with the sandwich listed for your project.

Took the day off so I can finish up some swaps!! I have the recipe, 3X3, and shoe box to make. ATC is stamped and needs to be colored and cut out. Not bad for me. I have my list so of stamps, colors and supplies for each so that is half the battle. Best part of today, I have the house to myself and dinner is in the crock pot already.

It's been a while since I logged on here.....things have been a bit crazy this month!
Quilt sampler is done....working on getting things cut for my shoebox.

A local friend from my ATC club is bringing water... so please try to stick to what you all originally signed up for... or at least a close facsimile. If you are still undecided... please take a look at page one and fill in a gap you might see.
ALSO... a reminder on parking. If you have been to my house, please park there, in the street or in the driveway if there is room... and walk through the back to the new building. There should be room for 3 (or 4?) cars across the front of the building. Then parking on the street. Please feel free to park behind someone that is in front of the building as we will all be leaving at the same time. I am assuming there are some carpools set up so there won't be 22 cars .... right?? ha ha :rolleyes:

I have to check with my travel buddies, but I'd enjoy going to dinner.
I Am just going to throw this out there... it is supposed to be nice and warm on Saturday. We could also order pizza or something in and lounge around the pool. The pool temp is 86... swimming is also an option. Talk amongst your friends...

Just finished baking 17 dozen Welch cookies. 10 dz for church bake sale next weekend, 4 dz for us this Sat, some for my dad, and the rest for the family to enjoy.
Glad that job is out of the way, especially the bake sale part. Now all I have to do for Sat. is pack stuff up.

Just saw this. Temp could be 78 Sat. Pool party does sound like an option!
No creative names come to mind.....so my shoebox is simply going to be " leaves".
I like the idea of staying put and sharing leftovers or adding pizza to enjoy. Moving to the pool area would be great if the sun cooperates. You have a chance to visit with more people if not boxed in at a table..then you can only talk to those who are seated right near you and miss out on those at the other end of the table! This way we can move around and visit with everyone! Just my thoughts here...I will enjoy whatever the group decides!
