We only have the big box stores that I am aware of. I just heard that the lady in the church sold. :( For dinner we could go across the street to Lost Dog Cafe or my DD says Amichi is good, just down the street. There is quite a bit within walking distance. Tranquil is a little farther, but good
changing my mind again about the shoe box, since I have assess to leather, I haven't done leather pouches in quite q while. What do you think Gayla? I think you were there for the last pouches when I did them in Clarence. Just thought it might be something different from the norm.

sold @ the church. she was just on FB. about holding her crop on the 23rd. rescheduled due to the snowstorm.

Lost Dog has the most options for me. The others don't really have anything on my "list".
The leather pouches are all cut just need Velcro and to stitch. It isn't to bad with the automatic machines at work, I'll decorate one this weekend to start. Only have the SU swap to finish and to pack. I like these small numbers, doesn't seem real but nice after the big swaps. Thanks Gayla

Missing it for my 87 yo MIL. She LIVES for George Strait. This is his last tour .. or so he says. And possibly ... it would be her last chance. Can't miss it. Sorry I didn't see it on the calendar the day before....

I know Heidi ... when she was setting the date, I was looking at Saturdays date ... the concert is Friday night in Buffalo... and we have to stay over. His mom doesn't move quickly. But ... on a good note ... I hope to stop at Buffalo Stamps! And I'll be picking up my new {to me} filing cabinets.

Nancy, I'll help out with your swap head, I have never done it before for this gathering but have done it for others, just let me know what has to be done. I hope you have a good time and safe trip. Family will not always be around and we WILL miss you at the gathering.

We're back from a funeral and the luncheon after it. DH actually closed for the day since the funeral was for our employee Ken's SIL who died after two years of battling cancer. Ken wanted us to be there.
I've tried at least seven (really? I have seven??? LOL!!!) shades of teal ink for my NVR and I'd rather take a nap right now with Zekey! I really want to stamp during the daylight but a nap right now would be so nice.

Settled on Tim Holtz stamps to decorate the pouches with just black ink. Now just to sew them tomorrow after work. They do need some bling so I'll look for some brads on the closure tomorrow. A C Moore has 55 % coupon for today and tomorrow and I can use this at Joanne and Michaels too. Not going out today, just want to finish my swaps. DH making homemade bread. With no football or races yet, have to keep him busy.

Working on the SU swaps when I get off here, DH forgot the bread soo (THEY LOOKED LIKE BALLOONS ) so he tapped the pans on the counter, then............. they sunk way down into the pan..... well, we put them into the oven anyway and they are on the rise again...Got to get off, see everyone later.
